Review: Bioderma Atoderm 2-in-1 Oil

If you're anything like me, then you're probably asking - when will Winter end? As much as I love the cosy Winter fashion that accompanies the cold weather, where you get all bundled up in cute, thick sweaters and adorable scarves and hats, it's also that dreadful feeling of just being so COLD all the time that I don't find appealing. Sure, it's great to be given the chance to sit in front of a fireplace, cupping a mulled wine between your hands, letting it's warmth spread through you from the inside out, but let's face it, Winter truly isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I've heard people say that Winter in Australia 'isn't worth it', in that it's simply cold, without allowing us to reap the benefits of all the accoutrements that come with cold weather in other countries, like snow and frozen ponds. Sure, it happens in other areas, such as the Snowy Mountains, but in populated regions like Sydney and Melbourne, we simply freeze with being rewarded by a blanket of snow. Of course, while we don't get beautiful things like snow, we certainly get given all the other not so great things, like dry skin, chapped lips and cracked heels.

I've been loving the Bioderma Atoderm 2-in-1 Oil, which has been amazing for combating all the ill effects of Winter that comes with living here in Sydney. This promises to smooth the skin texture, while also deeply nourishing the skin, providing 24 hours of moisturisation. This aims to make the skin feel more comfortable, with a texture that is touch dry, and is said to hold a delicate fragrance.

This comes in a clear, tall bottle with a blue screw top lid, which works well at preventing it from leaking. There is a small hole that is revealed once the cap is removed, and the oil flows out of it freely when the bottle is tipped upside down. It starts off feeling like quite an oily oil, and certainly, it can stay that way if you're heavy handed with it.

However, if you use it sparingly, you can cover your entire body nicely, and leave barely a trace of it on the skin. Rather, you're left with skin that feels moisturised, without being greasy, and the added bonus of being able to get dressed quickly. Suitable for normal to dry sensitive skin, this body oil is a quiet and efficient worker, and it's worth the money. What is your preferred body product from Bioderma?
