Review: Jung Saem Mool Essential Skin Nude Cushion with SPF 50+

It's Monday and the horrors of being away for a month will be catching up to me in approximately 1 hour, when I reach work. Being away on an extended stay is always brilliant, but sometimes, the landing can be very... well, bumpy. But, the upside that there will be plenty of little cats that I can say hello to, so all is not lost. That's what I'm going to keep telling myself when it starts to get overwhelming today, anyway! And always remember, you are replaceable at work, so never let that be your identity. I really should try to practice what I preach!

As it is, all you can really do is put your best face forward, and toward, I'll be doing that with the Jung Saem Mool Essential Skin Nude Cushion with SPF 50+! Now, I'm just going to get on my soapbox a little and remind people that your makeup won't be enough to use as your sole source of sun protection, and that you should be slathering that sunscreen on as much and as often as you can. I say this, because now that it's hot in Australia, there will be plenty of people sitting out there without slippin', slappin' and sloppin' that stuff on, and sunburns, at best, and melanomas, at the very worst, shouldn't be the souvenirs that you'd be taking away from an otherwise beautiful season. But I digress.

I do think that it's great that certain makeup brands including sunscreen in there, but remember that to get sufficient coverage, you'd really have to go so heavy with your base that you'd look like you were wearing a mask. And the Jung Saem Mool Essential Skin Nude Cushion should be anything but that! Like all cushion products, this comes in a hard case where you can swap out the foundation cushion once you've run out, which I really like the idea of. It also has a little makeup puff included in the packaging that you can use to pick up the foundation for application, before dabbing it to your skin.

I was quite impressed by the coverage! For something that thin, it has quite a bit of a second skin look to it, and it seems to smooth out the appearance of my skin, all without creasing, and it seems to give medium to full coverage, which I don't need, but thought it was impressive all the same. I love that this feels quite smooth on my skin, and I love that this doesn't seem to oxidise with wear, which a lot of other foundations can do. It also wears really well otherwise, and I can absolutely understand why this is such a hyped up product!

Jung Saem Mool is available at various retailers, including Amazon, where there is an official retailer that carries the line. It's truly a very excellent beauty line that gets me excited whenever I try something new from them, because I know that it's probably going to be excellent! This is a little on the pricier side, but if you've been looking for a cushion foundation that will give you a close to your own skin match, while also having great staying power, then you'd be wanting to indulge in this one. Have you tried anything from Jung Saem Mool?
