Review: Rimmel Wonder'Bond Brow Filler Peel-Off Tint

It's been ages since my last Rimmel post! Remember when Rimmel took up just about every other post here on Temporary Princess? They still remain one of my favourite drugstore makeup brands, particularly when it comes to mascaras. If you have Asian lashes and you're looking for something that might create a bit of difference to your lashes, and you're on a budget, you're going to want to swing by the Rimmel stand the next time you're near a Priceline or Chemist Warehouse.

Another thing that might motivate a move to head that way? Their new Wonder'Bond Brow Filler Peel-Off Tint! If you're wondering why this might look familiar as a concept to you, like a revamp of a product from a different brand, the answer is - yup! Some of you may be familiar with the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Gel Tint, and you can still find my review of it over here, and this burst onto the beauty scene years ago, and turned loads of us into loyal spenders of coin with them, before fizzling out a little. While still a decent product, I feel like the formula did change a bit, and the staying power isn't what it once was.

Thankfully for us, the Rimmel Wonder'Bond Brow does that, and more, and it's safe to say that I'm officially in love with it! Just to preface things, I have had microblading done to my brows, so it does look like I have bigger, fuller brows than I actually do (thanks to the 90's and my over enthusiastic tweezing!), and while it looks great still, I personally feel like it's faded a little bit over three years, which, I've been told, is good innings. So, for the days when I actually want to give it a bit of a boost, the Rimmel Wonder'Bond Brow Filler Peel-Off Tint really, literally, fills the gaps.

This boasts the ability to last up to five days, but I will say on me, it seems to go up to three to four days, mostly because of my overenthusiastic application of face oil, I think, and perhaps my double cleansing method on most nights. Still, this can stand up against water very nicely, and it does give me the appearance of fuller, thicker and more intense looking brows. It comes in a soft tube, which makes me think that it might be easier to try and get out more of the stuff at the bottom of it by giving it a bit of a squeeze, and I like that it has a narrow brush for application.

The formula is gel-like and easy to paint over the brows. Let is set for 20 minutes and dry down completely before you try and peel it off, with the direction of the hair growth, not against. I like that there's biotin in the formula, which is meant to help with the hair growth - a bit like having a mask on the brows, if you will! There are four shades available, so you will hopefully be able to find something that works for you! This retails for just under $25, but I bought it on sale at 50% off. Is this something that you'd like to us?
