Review: Laneige Bouncy and Firm Serum
When it comes to Kbeauty, Laneige is probably one of the most easily recognisable brands, and one that feels like it leans more towards luxe than drugstore, which make sense, given that this has a price tag of $65 for 30 ml of product. The Bouncy and Firm Serum made waves when it was released a while back, and it's easy to understand the hype. This is designed for a lot of girlies in mind, including those with combination, dry, normal and oily skin types, and particularly for babes whose skin concerns include skin dullness, fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin texture, ageing and the loss of firmness and elasticity.
It's marketed as an early anti-ageing serum that's meant to plump, firm and leave your skin glowing. The formula utilises the goodness of peony and Collagen Complex™ to deliver deep hydration to the skin, and contribute to skin elasticity, while peptide water can help to firm and plump the skin. There's also something called SmoothTech™ Capsules, of which there are 24, 000 and this is meant to reduce the appearance of fine lines and smooth over the skin texture. The capsules are made up of ingredients like algae oil, Vitamin E and Vitamin C, which explains why it's great for keeping the skin conditioned and bright.
This comes in a simple glass bottle with a very effective pump, and I find two pushes to be appropriate for my face, neck and decolletage. The serum is a clear pink, and it's easy to massage into the skin and gets absorbed in no time at all! I love that this doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky or tacky, and it really does seem to make my skin look glowy and smooth. It's really easy to see why this has been so popular on social media over the last few months!
This doesn't have much of a scent to it, which is good for those who are sensitive to fragrances, and I like that this delivers what it says it will. This isn't an isolated product in the Bouncy and Firm range by Laneige either, and it also has a Sleeping Mask and an Eye Sleeping Mask, so that they can work while you're resting, helping to restore your skin to glowy perfection. Laneige does a lot of products well, and this is certainly one of them! Have you tried anything from Laneige?
