Review: Natralus Softening Hand Wash and Hand and Body Lotion

Who knew, a few years ago, that handwashing would become the focus of our lives? I mean, that, and knowing the average number of times that we touch our faces per hour - that would be about 23 times an hour, just for the uninitiated. And of course, if you're looking to wash your hands, it means that you'll also be looking to replenish what you've gotten rid of, right? In comes the hand lotion to do just that. This familiar duo is commonplace just about everywhere, and I know that many of us have taken to having them available at every sink at home.

I was sent a very sweet parcel from Natralus recently, and as with just about anything from Natralus, it was a huge hit, but before I give away any other spoilers, let's talk about their Softening Wash and Lotion Duo range! This comes in three different scents, and I was sent Lemon Myrtle, Kakadu Plum and Berries, with the other two being Tangerine, Fig and Berries, and Rose and Lilly Pilly, both of which I suspect I'd really love, but that's a post for another time - hopefully!

Both the Hand Wash and Hand and Body Lotion come in white bottles with a peel and reveal label (a pretty simple, but actually really cool concept) containing 300 ml of product each. They rely on a blend of superfoods and botanical ingredients to help restore and nourish the skin of the hands. The Hand Wash is relatively thick, lathers up a little bit and does a good job of cleaning without drying out the hands too much, and I love how refreshing the scent of this is! The Hand Wash contains goodness such as coconut derived ingredients, aloe vera and several fruit extracts, including kakadu, acai berry, goji, pomegranate, blueberry, raspberry, elderberry, cranberry, strawberry, blackcurrant, and grapefruit oil, among other things.

The Hand and Body Lotion smells equally divine, and while thick, it is easy to spread over the skin. This has the added bonus of being really easy to absorb, which means that it barely takes any time at all for this to sink into the skin. While that's great for the body, because you don't have to hang around to let it dry down before putting your clothes on, it's particularly fantastic for the hands, in that they don't stay greasy for ages. The Hand and Body Lotion has very similar ingredients to the Hand Wash, which makes sense, as they are from the same range, and it also includes sunflower seed oil and shea butter to help keep your hands soft.

They are both vegan, and eco friendly and worth the dough. I love that this duo doesn't look out of place anywhere in my house, and the scent is really uplifting and refreshing. They are now available at their online store over here for $37.50, or, if you're after a top up of goodness and would prefer to get them individually, then you can purchase them for $16 for the Hand Wash, and $23.75 for the Hand and Body Lotion. What was the last thing you bought from Natralus?
