Review: Dr Lewinn's Serum Series Hyaluronic Acid + Waterin Plus Hydrate Serum

I don't know about you, but this weather is a little insane. I mean, we're here, about a third of the way into Summer, and somehow, we are still dealing with 20 degrees celsius days? Isn't that just kinda nutty? Don't tell me that global warming doesn't exist! Aside from that generally just being a problem overall (don't want to bring the vibe down, but I do hope that y'all are doing what you can to reduce your carbon footprint), it also makes it harder for you to decide what to wear, let alone what kind of skincare product to use.

Thankfully, staying hydrated, no matter the weather, is never out of season for me! I've steadily been using the the Dr Lewinn's Serum Series Hyaluronic Acid + Waterin Plus Hydrate Serum, and this little beauty is helping make a difference to just how well hydrated my skin stays! A lightweight serum that is designed to combat dry and dehydrated skin, this is also meant to help boost the volume of the skin while targeting lines and wrinkles.

To achieve what it promises to do, this contains hyaluronic acid, which attracts and binds moisture. This results in plumper skin that is better hydrated, minimizing the fine lines while smoothing the skin. It also helps to reduce inflammation while improving skin elastin and increasing collagen production. Not only that, there is also Waterin Plus, which is made of a carbohydrate complex derived from plants, and imitates the composition of carbohydrates found in the stratum corneum.

Waterin Plus helps to improve skin comfort by fighting skin itchiness, and provide skin hydration. This also has the capacity to increase skin hydration level by helping to hold water and via supporting skin barrier function. This comes in a white bottle that has a dropper applicator built into the cap, which unscrews. In order to such the product up, there is a soft part to the cap that you press down to activate the suction. this works beautifully, and the serum is clear and thin, making it so that absorption takes no time at all.

My skin really does seem to be doing better with this, in that it's smoother and softer, and I'm finding that my makeup appears to have a more flawless finish, while also looking better. I also love that this doesn't seem to react with any other products I've been using, making the layering of products very easy. It's currently available at Priceline, as well as their online store, and a 30 ml bottle will only set you back by $74/95. What's your favourite skin hydrating product?
