New Release: OPI Power of Hue Limited Edition Collection
Do you know what I love about Australian Winters? The fact that even when it's cold, there are days when sitting out in the sunshine, under a bright blue sky, with sunshine bouncing off clear aquamarine water and green leaves gently rustling in the wind, you can still fool yourself into thinking that it's simply a cold Spring day. Sydney is very charming like that, and this is exactly what I'm embracing about the latest collection to drop from OPI, Power of Hue.
OPI leans into the power of colour with vibrant shades in their latest release, and there are eight shades in total, which are all limited edition shimmer colours and for those down in the doldrums about the short days and the long nights, these will certainly brighten up your nails, and your life! The spectrum of mood-boosting warm shades segues into soothing, cooler tones, letting you pick what works best with your frame of mind.
The main shades that dominate the collection are fuchsia, orange, lilac and blue, with Pink Big, a very bold shimmery fuchsia, being the standout colour in the range. Only slightly quieter is Exercise Your Brights, which is an electric hot pink that looks amazing next to dark Winter knits. Sun-rise Up offers a a stunning coral pink, while Feel Bluetiful is an electric sparkly blue that will brighten up your nails.
Sliding towards the cooler end of the scale, we have The Future Is You, which features a shimmery golden tan, and Sky True To Yourself is a light sky blue that shines in a stunning way. Don't Wait, Create is a bright lilac that adds a pop of pastel prettiness to the nails, and last but not least, Sugar Crush It, which is a cotton candy pink shade, makes me want to stop and stare at my nails regularly.
There is just something about how beautifully bright and happy these shades are that have me running for a change of colour every few days. These are now available as individual shades for $22.95 each, and there is also a mini 4 gift set that retails for $24.95. You can grab your own mood lifting, eye popping colours from Myer and David Jones. What shade, or shades, would you pick this Winter?
