Review: Dr Lewinn's Serum Series Vit C+Fision Glowplex Glow Serum

Hands up if you use a serum daily! Congratulations on looking after your skin! Now, hands up if you use two different kinds of serum daily. For those who did, well done, you're targeting different needs for your skin, depending on what your skin needs targeted. And if you're like me, and you're always after something to brighten your skin, which, in turn, brightens my life, then be prepared to make a trip to Priceline very soon, because the Dr Lewinn's Serum Series Vit C+Fission Glowplex Glow Serum may make an appearance in your life.

This serum boasts the ability of brighten and brighten the skin, while also reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation. This is also meant to improve the skin tone, as well as keeping the skin calm, in addition to fighting free radicals by providing antioxidant protection. It does so by having hyaluronic acid as part of the formula, which is responsible for hydrating the skin. There is also niacinamide in it, which can help support the skin barrier, while also improving the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

The piece de resistance, of course, has to be the key ingredients - Vitamin C. This comes in a more stabilised format, which is known as Golden-C®. It serves as an antioxidant to help deal improve skin tone and texture, in addition to hydrating the skin. It works in synergy with Fision GlowPlex®, which is supposed to help enhance skin radiance, while reducing the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation, as well as improving the skin tone gradually.

The design of the bottle is simple and minimalistic. It is white, with black lettering and a yellow stripe to indicate which serum it is in the range. It has a dropper applicator built into the cap, and to use it, just press and release the top of the cap, which will suck the product up into it. All you need is a couple of drops in your hands to cover the face and decolletage - simply tap it into the skin. The serum is clear and thin, and gets absorbed very quickly. This doesn't leave any residue on the skin, and it doesn't react with anything other products that I've been layering it with.

It's an easy serum to love! My skin does seem to love this - it definitely doesn't look dull, and it's helping my skin stay moisturised. However, I wish this gave me more of a lit from within glow, but given how demanding I am when it comes to skincare, I honestly would probably have to swallow a light bulb to get that! The serum retails for about $60, and aside from Priceline, you can also find it online at various retailers, including Adore Beauty. The good thing too, about Dr Lewinn's, is that this brand goes on sale regularly, making it a more affordable purchase for those may be interested in trying it. What's your favourite Dr Lewinn's product?
