Review: Youth To The People Dream Eye Cream

You know that feeling when you spent your whole weekend working, and you think that you might have to spend the start of the week propping your eyelids up with toothpicks, just to keep your eyes open? Yeah, that's me right now! If you're familiar with this feeling, then you'd also know that it's no fun, and that this can often result in dark eye circles and puffy skin under your eyes that you have to hide to fake looking awake. I'm sure there are lots of people nodding along with me right now, so I'm just going to dive into it, and talk about something that's been helping me fight that look - the Youth To The People Dream Eye Cream.

This is a thick eye cream that comes in a little jar holding 15ml of product, with an easy to remove screw lid. Created with a vegan formula, this is meant to help with hydrating the skin, while also smoothing the appearance of fine line and wrinkles, so that you can look perky and bright throughout the day! In order to help you achieve your very most 'bright eyed and bushy tailed' appearance, this has a number of key ingredients that work well together.

Firstly, there are gogi stem cells, designed to help stimulate cell renewal, and the addition of hyaluronic acid, which is good for smoothing and plumping the skin. These can both help in reducing the appearance of fine line around the eyes. The cream is also infused with THD ascorbate, which, while it sounds fancy, is a stable form of vitamin C to help brighten and firm the skin. This is all packed into a thick eye cream that is malleable and easy to work into the skin.

While the cream itself is thick, it isn't greasy and doesn't slide around on the skin much, nor does it interact with other products on my face, including my makeup, so this is safe for me to wear both morning and night. The cream warms up a little with manipulation, and this makes it easier for absorption. I really like that this really seems to help keep the area hydrated (and the fine lines at bay, which can contribute to me looking extremely tired), and that my eye bags also seem less puffy with continued use.

Retailing for $74, this little powerhouse can be found at Sephora in Australia, both in store, and online over here. If you haven't tried anything else from the range just yet, I can definitely recommend a number of other goodies, including their Age Prevention Cleanser, as well as their Yerba Mate Resurfacing Energy Facial Exfoliator. Likewise, if there's anything that you love from the brand, don't forget to leave me a message below!
