Review: Torriden Dive In Serum Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid

It's officially midweek, which means that we can take a moment to breathe out - the weekend is almost here! I'm really excited, as I'm heading off interstate after work today for a spot of switching off and thrifting, and it's just nice to have a change of scenery. I don't know how other people turn their brains off after slogging it out at work, but the one thing that always makes me feel better is knowing that I have something to look forward to, whether it's a small or a big trip, and in this instance, it's one of my little Jetstar sale purchases, and it's very much a case of a little going a long way - literally!

Speaking of things where a little might go a long way, that sums up hyaluronic acid quite nicely. It is the prime example of something that doesn't seem like much in volume that can do a great job of making a big difference. If you have been on the blog recently, you'd know about my new found love for Torriden, which you can read about over here, and why it needs to be be on your must try list. If a gel cream isn't your vibe, then perhaps this serum might be, so let dive into it!

Designed to help provide deep hydration to the skin and fortify the skin barrier, this contains their 5D complex hyaluronic acid, which is comprised of five different sizes of hyaluronic acid to help get into different layers of the skin, resulting in water being pulled in, and locking it in place, keeping the skin beautifully moisturised. This also has a soothing complex, which is made up of panthenol, allantoin and madecassoside, and it's supposed to soothe the skin, keeping it calm and reducing irritation and helping it stay comfortable.

Additionally, this also has malachite extract, which is what gives the serum a natural pale blue shade, as well as providing a fortifying boost to the skin barrier - score! This comes in a clear bottle that makes it easy to ascertain how much product you have left, and there's a dropper built into the cap, so that you can get just the right amount of product onto your skin. This doesn't have a fragrance, and the texture is light and runny, and absorption occurs in the matter of seconds, leaving no trace on the skin, except for the results of it's use.

My skin feels soft and hydrated, and in this weather, it's definitely welcome! I love that this has my skin feeling a little more hydrated, especially when it's obvious that my skin is dry as heck in the Winter - I've reapplied my lip balm about 3 times since I started writing this post! Best of all, this isn't particularly pricey, sitting at just $32 for 30 ml of product. It's currently available where Torriden can be found, including places like W Cosmetics. I like to combine this with an active ingredient to get the most out of my skincare routine. What's your favourite combination?
