Review: Frudia Citrus Brightening Micro Cleansing Foam
June is a bit of a busy travel month, which means that I need to get my shit together, and actually start packing, and making plans for where to go and what to do. I'm not going to lie - I'm definitely not as organised as I'd like to be, and certainly not as together as my best friends will have you believe! While I love travelling, I do sometimes find it hard to sort out the nitty gritty, like public transport in a foreign country, for example, and sometimes, even trying to figure out what to pack for my skincare routine can be a lot! This is why I'm grateful for my current skincare routine on the ground - it doesn't take any sort of thinking, and it works really well!
I'm particularly grateful for the Frudia Citrus Brightening Micro Cleansing Foam, which is a gamble that I picked up from iHerb recently, when I went shopping for some supplements, and this somehow added itself to the cart (I swear, it wasn't me!). It's a Korean skincare brand, and one that I'm excited to explore further. The Frudia Citrus Brightening Micro Cleansing Foam is touted as a brightening and whitening face wash that's infused with Vitamin C.
It's selling points include preventing and fighting dark spots and hyperpigmentation, while also helping to even out skin tone and refreshing tired complexions. This is said to keep the skin soothed and comfortable, and to do it, it utilises extracts from bamboo, eucalyptus, cypress and moringa leaf. It's also meant to help unclog pores, as well as removing fine dust and dirt, so that your skin can feel revitalised and supple.
This cleanser comes packaged in a large yellow tube with a flip lid that contains 145 ml of product. Once squeezed, a rich, creamy cleanser comes out, and this lathers up beautifully into a whipped texture, which is light and fluffy. The cleanser doesn't leave a residue on the skin, nor does my skin react poorly to it. I find that this has been great for removing the remnants of the day on my face, and that it does leave my skin feeling refreshed. The one thing that I have noticed is that it does occasionally irritate my eyes a little bit, so I am a little cautious when using it around them.
For a daily cleanser, this is quite enjoyable, but not earth shattering as I don't find that this really does brighten up my skin much - it's just a great way to wash the day off and be left with soft, comfortable skin. The Frudia Citrus Brightening Micro Cleansing Foam retails for $14, which feels like a total bargain for the size of the tube as I'm certain that this will last me for months, and you can get this from various sources, including Boniik here in Sydney, as well as online. What's your favourite brightening cleanser?
