Review: Boost Lab Jojoba + Bio-Nourishing Oil
Can you feel that in the air? It is the energy of the first day of the week, so get out there, and go kick some ass! Whether you choose to do something really significant today, or simply stay on the couch like a slug, I know that you're going to do it with the best of intentions, and be the greatest you that you could possibly be! Mondays can be a little too exciting at work sometimes, so I'm going to take this chance to take it a little slow and mellow, given that it's a public holiday today, and I, for one, intend to sit around in my skincare and do very little!
Part of my routine will include the Boost Lab Jojoba + Bio-Nourishing Oil, which is a liquid oil that is meant to deeply replenish and hydrate dry skin without clogging up the pores. This is meant to be great for babes that have dehydrated skin, and it's supposed to help smooth the look of fine lines, while improving a dull complexion, making it more radiant. I love that this is cruelty free, which is like the rest of the Boost Lab range, and that this is packed with skin loving ingredients.
The key ingredient in this is the Amazonian Cacay Oil, which is supposed to help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. There's also something called L22® bio lipid complex, which is meant to improve skin firmness and elasticity, so that your skin can keep it's bounciness. Additionally, the formula also includes Vitamin E and omega six triglycerides to help improve the skin barrier, allowing it to withstand daily stressors better, while also preventing the loss of moisture.
This comes in a translucent bottle with a glass dropper, and honestly, this is my favourite way to get facial oil onto my skin. It allows me to titrate the exact amount that I'm after, and I feel like nothing goes to waste this way. I like that the oil is sufficiently moisturising, without feeling thick or sticky, and I love that this doesn't interfere with any other bits of skincare. Instead, this doesn't take long for it to sink into the skin, and I'm not left with my face feeling like it's all going to slip off my skin.
I feel like this has helped in making my skin stay looking bright and feeling soft. I love that I don't have any dry patches on my face, which is something that crops up when I'm either really stressed, or out in the Winter a lot. It's moisturising without making my skin feel too oily, and I'm so here for it! I do love that the Boost Lab products I've tried have all been very decent, and much like the others, this facial oil works well on me, and for only $29.95 for 30 ml of product, it's worth pressing add to cart! Do you have a favourite Boost Lab product?
