Review: Infinaluxe Lash Extensions

I don't know whether it's because it's getting hotter, or just that since the start of COVID, I've really eased off base products, due to me having to wear a face mask, and not liking the sensation of leaving half my face behind on the inside of one as the day wears on, or simply just that I'm getting lazier, but I do really appreciate my low makeup/no makeup days! It also makes it easier to leave the house with very little on my face when I now have beautifully micro bladed brows (I cannot recommend that enough!), and with the addition of my Infinaluxe Lash Extensions, it could easily cut down the amount of products that I'd usually put on my face!

If you're following me on Instagram, you may have seen my recent reel about Infinaluxe - that was absolutely my first attempt at placing them above and along my lash line, and I managed to catch it all on camera! If you haven't seen it yet, I would highly recommend checking it out, at least so that you can see how easy it is to do it at home! Let's dive into a routine that might end up replacing, or at the very least, helping you stretch out the intervals between your lash appointments!

Created in 2020, when COVID first hit, and all the salons across Australia were forced to shut their doors, Kat, the founder of Infinaluxe, came up with this genius, and frankly, life changing, product that is also sweat proof! So, how exactly do you do this? I will admit to being daunted by this whole process when I initially opened the box, but once I read the instructions, I was impressed by how easy it was! So, let me break it down for you - once you open your box and survey it all, and lay out all your tools, you can then get started and here's how!

  • Curl your own lashes
  • Pick up a set of lashes with the applicator
  • Apply the bond to either the top of the lashes (if you're planning to go under your own lashes) or under the lashes if you're planning to do what I did and go along and above the lash line
  • Place it in the appropriate spot
  • Use your little air blower to help speed up the drying process for the bond
  • Repeat with more extensions, overlapping the lashes a little bit for a more cohesive look
  • Once you're done, apply a small amount of sealant on the inside of the applicator, then clamp your lashes and the extensions together, holding them for about 10 seconds per section
  • Then follow this up with a swipe of sealant on your lashes, and you're done!

It's literally so easy, I managed to do it all in under 20 minutes, and that's just my first time. It's said that you can do this in 10 minutes, so I'm looking forward to cutting down my application time as I go along. I'd encourage you to try it yourself, if you're looking for the advantages of lash extensions without the stress that comes along with losing bits of it along the way, especially when you can't make it back in time for infills - or is that just me? Get started here via their website, and if you do try them, tag me on Instagram - I'd be so keen to see them!
