Spring into Spring: Part Three

Remember that when seasons change, so too should your skincare routine! While not featured here, however, I would highly advise that if you weren't already on SPF, make sure that you get on that shizz, because it's necessary! Nevertheless, for anyone else looking to mix things up as the days heat up, I hope this post gives you some skin inspo!

Have you been using a serum? If your skin is in need of a boost to shake off the dull, lifeless cast that Winter could bring on, then add Indeed Labs' Vitamin C24 to the routine! For a full review of how awesome this serum has been for me, you can read all about it here

If you're looking to improve the appearance of your skin quickly, Nanoblur could be worth trying! I'll be honest - this seems to help a little with some of my skin concerns, like fine lines, when applied alone. However, over makeup, this seems to ball on me. I will have to try what I was told by someone recently, which is to mix it into my foundation. Weird? Maybe, but definitely worth a consideration!

If you'd prefer a lighter lotion, rather than something thick, The Body Shop has a delightful Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion that has a watery consistency, which means that it gets absorbed incredibly quickly. This has antioxidants and hyaluronic acid, and this is meant to keep the skin moisturised for 48 hours. Light and easy on the skin, this will disappear in no time, make it a good one for the warmer months.

Speaking of light and easy, an alternative to the above would be Indeed Lab's Hydraluron Moisture Jelly! This has a cute little pump that pops the jelly up, which means that it's nice and hygienic for daily use. I find this to be slightly thicker, and it provides excellent moisture for the skin.

While the Beautyblender is definitely appropriate for all seasons, it can't be denied that the bright colours that they come in, like the original pink, for example, certainly cheer up the makeup table on the cooler and darker nights as we edge towards Summer! For anyone who might be wondering, given the number of makeup sponges that we have on the market these days, out of the four I've tried, this is definitely the best. You can find it at Sephora, and it comes in a variety of packs to suit all budgets.

After the cool weekend we've just had, it's hard to think about Summer being right around the corner, but with Spring being Spring, it's likely to heat up again soon, so make sure you're ready when it does! What do you change for the warmer weather?

  6. Vitamin C24 sounds lovely! I'm currently using OST's Vitamin C20 (a Korean brand) but want a slightly higher concentration, now my skin is used to it.
