Birthday love and presents

What a week!
Aside from my whirlwind trip to Singapore over the previous weekend, I also celebrated my 30th birthday, then jumped straight back into work. Between all that and some wedding research, I'm so glad it's the weekend! However, there really isn't any rest for the wicked, because I'm working tomorrow! Eep... At this rate, I'm looking forward to next weekend already!

I want this post to go out to all the lovely people who passed me their best wishes, and to the many who went out of their way to get me some of the best presents! Please note, this isn't meant to be a post boasting about all the pretty things I got, but more of one stating my appreciation, so, thank you everyone!

My fiancé bought me the holy grail of bags, and I'm now the proud owner of a classic - hello, my little Chanel! It's gorgeous and it's a bag that I will be using for the rest of my life. Next up, my sisters bought me this purple Marc by Marc Jacobs leather bag, which is big enough to hold everything and more, while adding a splash of colour to my outfit.

I also got chocolates, 3 cakes, 4 cupcakes, perfume, knitting needles, yarn and a book on how to knit your own cat, a large candle with a ring hidden inside it (!), which also smells divine, and a vintage enamel cat bracelet, which was sneakily bought for me, and is gorgeous. I'm an extremely spoilt and lucky girl! Other presents not in this picture include a dress from my bestie in Canada (it was in the wash) and a 1920's ring from my soon to be in-laws.

Thank you everyone for all of the wonderful wishes and love! So far, 30 is off to a phenomenal start!
