Review: Neostrata Resurface Foaming Glycolic Wash

If you've spent the last couple of weeks here in steaming hot and thickly humid Sydney, I think you'd agree with me when I say that it's been outrageously wonderful coming home to a good face wash, helping you clean away the traces of the day, rinsing all the dirt, oil and heat from your face. Honestly, when you've been on the go all day, and you've taken off your makeup and you're looking forward to having squeaky clean skin, it's been lovely being able to refresh my face with Neostrata's Resurface Foaming Glycolic Wash!

Neostrata is a brand that is now available in Priceline, and one that has a whole range of products to suit your needs. Whether you're looking to brighten your skin or slow the effects of ageing in it's tracks, or battle blemishes, you'd be able to find something that's going to hit the spot with this brand! I've had the pleasure of trying out their Resurface Foaming Glycolic Wash recently, and this has been a very positive experience at a time when we've had an outrageously hot and humid period here in Sydney!

Firstly, let's talk about what this is and why it's something you might want to try! This is a foaming (as the name would suggest) face wash that has been formulated with 18% Glycolic Acid and 2% Lactobionic Acid. This combination is designed to help exfoliate the skin, while also cleansing congested pores, all with the goal to ultimately prep the skin so that it may be a lot more open to absorbing the rest of your skincare routine.

This face wash comes in a white bottle with a clear cap. The pump is firm, and a nice amount is deposited with each push. I find about four pumps to be sufficient for my skin, but prior to getting the product out, I make sure that my skin is wet. Once it is, I apply the cleanser to my skin, and massage it in, using rotational strokes, making sure that I pay extra attention to areas that I know to be my breakout zones, such as the nose and along my hairline.

I really like that this doesn't dry out my skin, which was always my issue with non-cream cleansers back in the day. Instead, I find that this does seem to do a good job of removing all the little bits of oil, dirt and remaining traces of makeup at the end of the day, leaving me with skin that feels clean and fresh, while still remaining really comfortable. I feel like this also does help in getting my skin ready for the next few layers of skincare, with better results. This is soap free and retails for just under $60 at Priceline.
