New Release: Eylure Eco Lash and Stash

Happy mid week! It should come as a surprise to absolutely no one that I'm a big fan of false eyelashes, and why wouldn't you be? Long and curly lashes can immediately change your look, taking you from cute to glam in a flash, and when you become used to placing lashes, application is a breeze and doesn't take you very long at all. Of course, like just about everyone else, I had my teething pains with them, and yes, sometimes they are still tricky, but honestly, so worth it!

As odd as it sounds, I have had people raise the fact that false eyelashes are problematic in more ways than just gluing your lids together, resulting in your lids sticking together every time you blink and having glue clump on your own lashes, in that they often come in a lot of packaging for something so little, especially for something that you can only use x number of times before you have to chuck the whole lot out, and that's if you're lucky and you haven't lost one of them en route home from the outing because it was bothering you and you removed them and put them goodness knows where. I know it isn't just me that does this!

Well, say hello to the Eylure Eco Lash and Stash, because these babies are the most sustainable lashes from Eylure yet! Their packaging is 100% recyclable, and these handmade, vegan, faux mink lashes are a game changer. Aside from being able to place them back into the packaging between uses, the box actually folds in half, which makes it easier to help take care of the lashes when you're travelling, particularly if you're prone to removing them in transit.

There is a total of four new styles, ranging from the wearable daily set, to the glamorous and dramatic. Lash'd Up, which is a full and angled lash that helps to frame the eye, giving you a more wide eyed appearance, is a good daily set for that pretty, slightly flirty appearance, while Go To Lashes is a great all rounder, in that it won't look out of place anywhere as it is a textured criss cross lash with a wispy effect. Then, for special occasions, you can trot out Party Ready (remember, the festive season is right around the corner!), which is a flirty layered lash that will have you looking immediately glamorous.

Last but not least, the aptly named Date Nigh has a shorter band and is lightly textured, so that you can look like you just woke up cute, and effortlessly pretty. These retail for $19.95 each, and they are apparently reusable for up to 10 wears, which sounds incredible, but also, knowing myself, see above re: missing lashes. They currently exclusively available at Priceline, so make sure you check them out there! What is your go to lash look - natural and pretty, or tornado creating dramatic?
