Review: Farmstay Collagen Water Full Moist Eye Cream

It's been a busy week, and it doesn't end here, sadly! I'll be spending time shuffling between two different appointments, all while also trying to get my makeup room tidied up a little bit. As they say, no rest for the wicked, and I'm as wicked as can be! And of course, not resting also means looking like I haven't had much sleep, which is true, but still, I'd rather the world didn't know that! My current eye serum in my arsenal of skincare weapons is the Farmstay Collagen Water Full Moist Eye Cream, which has been interesting to use!

So, what's this eye cream that I've been using in an effort to combat those issues? The Collagen Water Full Moist Eye Cream is by Farmstay, which is a Korean brand, and this is said to be an eye cream that helps in reducing the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes. It does this by helping to hydrate the thin, sensitive skin around the under eye region, and this is also meant to turn up the luminosity of the skin, as well as giving the skin a boost with moisture and elasticity, resulting in skin that has a bit of bounce and firmness.

The key ingredient in this is the marine collagen, which is something that has a molecular structure that's quite similar to human skin, theoretically making it a more suitable match for people, helping to plump up the under eye region with moisture and boosting elasticity. This also has glycerin in it, which is a humectant that can help draw and trap moisture to help keep the skin hydrated. Additionally, this has niacinamide in it, which is great for strengthening the skin barrier while also soothing it, as well as adenosine, which is meant to be helpful for improving the appearance of wrinkles that appear in some of the most mobile places, such as the top of the forehead and around the eyes.

This comes in a surprisingly large tube that contains 50 ml of product, and it also has a screw cap that reveals an applicator containing three little roller balls. I find the name is to be a bit of a misnomer, given that this isn't so much a cream, but rather a serum. This has a thin consistency, and it's easy to apply this on specific areas without making a mess. I love that this spreads over the skin easily, and that because it's quite runny, this doesn't take long to get absorbed. This also doesn't have a scent, and I love that this doesn't react with any other products that I've been using.

Sadly, I don't think that this is quite strong enough to do what I'd like for it to! Yes, it does keep the skin a little better hydrated, but otherwise, it doesn't seem to do as much as I'd like for it to. I have found a couple of small eczema type patches creeping in recently, and that's not super ideal. It may work for those who aren't looking to target specific issues, but otherwise, I think I need something a little stronger. It's also maybe a good one for those who are budget conscious, as this won't break the bank! What's your favourite Korean eye cream?
