Review: Stem Organics Travel Kit and Perfect Complexion Masque *

Stem Organics - what have you heard about this brand? It was totally new to me, and honestly, I feel like this range is very underrated, because it's really beautiful, and so, I'm going to walk you through everything that you'd get in their travel kit!
Firstly, let's talk about Stem Organics! They are an Australian made organic skincare company and their products aim to encourage the maintenance of healthy skin by soothing and hydrating, as well as have anti-ageing properties. Their products also contain signature ingredients, such as Australian Kakadu Plum, Pomegranate and Aloe.

Stem includes goodies like antioxidants, anti-inflammatory nutrients, essential fatty acids and omegas, essential oils, fruit oils, vitamins and minerals, and leaves out other things like petrochemicals, parabens, sulphates, artificial colouring and fragrances.

This is also an excellent range for vegans, because a lot, if not all (certainly the ones I've tried so far have been), are vegan friendly! Now that you know a bit about what Stem does, let's have a chat about their products!

I've been using their Travel Companion (for normal/oily skin types) set for the last few weeks, and it's a great way to try the brand without breaking the bank. This kit includes:
- 2 x Gentle Cleansing Milk
- 1 x Smooth Skin Exfoliant
- 1 x Antioxidant Toning I fusion
- 1 x Balancing Face Fluid

I've also had the luck to use their Perfect Complexion Masque and for a first time introduction to a brand, this trial has been an overwhelming success!

The Smooth Skin Exfoliant comes with a pump, and it contains micro-fine bamboo to scrub the dead cells away, rejuvenating the skin. I like the size of the grit in this, and that this doesn't strip the skin of oils, but instead feels strangely gentle. I tend to follow it up with the Gentle Cleansing Milk, which lives up to it's name. It has a milky, partially gel-like consistency, and it leaves the skin soft and smooth. It also has Chamomile in it to calm the skin.

After that routine, I spritz some of the Antioxidant Toning Infusion onto my face, which is quite refreshing after a hot shower. This contains olive oil and green tea, which has antioxidants in it. To round things off, I use the Balancing Face Fluid. This spreads easily on the skin, and it gets absorbed really well. This one is meant to reduce oiliness, but given that I'm not prone to it, I didn't notice any difference.

The Perfect Complexion Masque is a hit in terms of results, but a little messy, given that it comes in a dry powder form, and you have to get the ratio of water to mask right, making it tricky to use if you're clumsy like I am! This tightens on the skin, and can get a little itchy, but the healthy looking skin beneath it makes it worth it! This has lots of Vitamin C in it, as well as other goodies!

All the products are really gentle on my skin, which is why I'm crushing on the range!

The travel kits are $89.00 each, and the masque is $40.00 and yo can find more information here.

Have you tried Stem Organics before? What type of skin do you have?

  1. Sounds Lovely.
I have a Stem Organics Serum which I haven't started using yet, I must break it out!

  2. I'm DYING to try some Stem Organics products! I've got sensitive, dehydrated & slightly combination skin (the only place I get oily is on either side of my nose, where I have some open pores) that does change with the seasons, so I'd probably have to mix & match a bit. Sadly I wouldn't be able to use the Perfect Complexion Masque as the type of Vitamin C in it is one I react badly to. :o(

  3. I was gifted the Face Fluid in my goodie bags from the Bloggers United event in Adelaide and I've only just finished it (sadly), I completely loved it. If it weren't so pricey I'd have repurchased by now!
