Review: Fenty Beauty Body Sauce Body Luminizing Tint
The weather has been so incredibly hot here in Sydney over the last few days - burning, sometimes humid, sometimes dry - it's been both wonderful and gorgeous, albeit a little too warm for me at certain points. The other thing about this weather, of course, is that the hotter it is, the more skin I have on show, except for when I'm taking extra measures to be sun safe, covering up with UVA/UVB rays blocking clothing. In the meantime, however, when my skin is on display, it will be putting it's best foot forward, as long as that foot is able to glisten in the sun!
Fenty Beauty has long been part of my shelfie, whether it's makeup, or skincare, and the Fenty Beauty Body Sauce Body Luminizing Tint is truly a mix of both. If you're looking for something that could give your body a healthy glow, rather than a heathy dose of rich shimmer, then this may be what you'd reach for over others that are on the market. This is marketed as a blurring body veil with a subtle shimmer, designed to help enhance the skin.
This is available in seven different shades to suit your skin tone, and it comes in a pump tube with a pull off cap. Said to have a gel cream formula, this feels more like has a liquid texture that is light on the skin, and glides on easily. This comes out quite opaque, and with a little work, this smooths over the skin nicely, blending into the skin, and giving it a more even tone. The coverage is buildable, and despite concerns, this has proven itself to be transfer resistant - I've even been brave enough to wear it with a white outfit!
I wasn't sure if it would, but it does feel silky to the touch, and doesn't rub off. Instead, I end up with skin that looks healthy, radiant and sunkissed, with just a bit of shimmer to make it fun. I also really like that this contains Babassu oil and Vitamin E, which means that this doesn't just act as makeup for my body, it's a hybrid product that also cares for the skin. I ordered this in 02 Hunnie Hunnie, which I think is a good match for my Summer skin, which already has a bit of colour to it, but I think I might have to pick it up in 01 Pearl Swirl, which is meant for light to light/medium skin tones, and may be better for when the weather starts cooling off.
This is available at Sephora, which is where I bought it, although most of the range is sold out currently there, as well as the Fenty Beauty website. This is what I've been reaching for before heading out the door for recent social events, so that I can shine in the sun. If you haven't had the chance to do a little fake bake before going out, and you'd like sunkissed skin, this may be just perfect for the occasion! What's your final touch before meeting up with others?
