Review: Garnier Skin Active Micellar Vitamin C Cleansing Water
Merry Christmas, my little elves! I should have workshopped that, but I've been too busy at work to function like a normal person. I've had people ask me before how I could possibly squeeze in all of the things I enjoy doing in life, like my full time job as a veterinarian, blogging three times a week while keeping up a steady social media presence, gathering things for the pound on a quarterly basis, while also finding moments to escape reality a plane ride away, interspersed amongst all the op shopping that I enjoy? I mean, it's not hard - I'm tell you what my secret weapon is.
It's my husband. Yeah, that's my secret weapon. The reason I get to live so well, is because the best thing in my life, aside from my cat, is my husband who does everything in the house, which keeps me calm and happy, and feel loved. Truly, I cannot stress enough how wonderful he is, and weirdly enough, he seems to think that I too do the same for him emotionally. Not to get mushy, but honestly, it's Christmas, so I'm gonna, but find someone who loves you as much as you love them, and lift each other up. You're so worth it.
And you know what else? You're worth finding the right micellar water that's going to take off all of your sparkly, Christmas, party makeup at the end of the night, and I have just the thing for you. Today, I'm here to interrupt your Christmas get together to tell you what you need to buy, so you don't wake up with panda eyes - I know, that rhymes, and that's the Garnier Skin Active Micellar Vitamin C Cleansing Water! You will be very familiar with this particular Garnier range, and that's because I've been yapping on about them non stop, as I'm totally obsessed with them!
This is said to be an efficient, yet gentle, cleanser that's designed to remove makeup, while helping to brighten skin. Simply pour a nice amount of this onto your makeup removal pad, and let your skin soak in it for a moment by pressing this against your face, before gently wiping the makeup off it. I love that this contains Vitamin C in it, of course, which is brilliant for keeping the skin bright, and that this really does remove every single trace of makeup from my skin, so that it is ready to be double cleansed, in order to receive a big dose of skincare after all that.
Aside from being good at what it does, this is also super affordable, if you're looking to simply try it, without committing to a large bottle. You can purchase the smallest bottle, which sits at a neat 125 ml for just under $10, and around $5 when bought on sale, like I got mine. And of course, the bottle is also made from 100% recycled plastic, which is cool! I love that this is cruelty free, and available just about everywhere. What is your favourite micellar water from Garnier?
