Review: Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum
Guys, we're creeping ever closer to Christmas! If you're not totally done with your shopping just yet, don't panic, there's still a little time, and late night shopping, to get everything sorted out! Just make a list, like Santa Claus would, and lean into the process! There's no point fighting in at this point, it is just what it is! And if you'd like a recommendation for me that would work for plenty of people, you can check out today's post, which is all about the Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum!
As you might know, if you've been reading this for long enough, you'd be aware that I'm obsessed with the Moisture Surge creams from Clinique, so when I was given the Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum to try out, you can bet your bottom dollar I rushed to get that on my face! This is said to be exfoliating, brightening, plumping, hydrating, and be great for keeping the skin clear and congestion free, while also preventing blemishes from cropping up.
This is the first serum from the Moisture Surge range, and spoiler - it's really worth it! This contains 5% lactic acid to help exfoliate dead skin cells, which can then allow other ingredients and products to penetrate further into the skin. It also has hyaluronic acid in it to help draw moisture into the skin, helping to hydrate and plump out the skin. And of course, if we're looking to brighten the skin, then look no further beyond Vitamin C, because this is packed with antioxidants, and it will help give your complexion a beautiful glow, while also keeping it firm.
Much like the rest of the collection, this comes in a light pink glass bottle with a dropper applicator, making it easy to get out just the right amount for your skin. The serum is a light creamy colour, and this gets absorbed quickly, as this isn't heavy, and has a relatively runny consistency. I love that this makes my skin feel plump right after it's use, and I've noticed that on the really hot and dry days, my skin doesn't actually feel like it needs it's thirst quenched.
Instead, this seems to help my skin stay moisturised for longer, and while I wish it packed more of a wallop when it comes to brightening my skin, I feel like I would primarily be using this to five me a hydration boost. It's not cheap, given that this is $99 for 50ml, but this is worth the dough, and great for anyone wanting good skin for Christmas, and whenever! It's also hugely accessible and available wherever Clinique can be found, which is plenty of places! What have you tried from the Clinique Moisture Surge range?
