Review: Skinn Non-Negotiables DermAppeal Microdermabrasion Treatment

This weather has seriously got me sweating (and I mean that quite literally!), and there is nothing better than a cool shower on a super hot day - am I right? It brings down my core temperature and leaves me refreshed (and clean!). It also has the added bonus of allowing me to treat myself to a little round of microdermabrasion, courtesy of the Skinn Non-Negotiables DermAppeal Microdermabrasion Treatment.

Skinn has produced a number of products that I've enjoyed over the last couple of years, and they've certainly done it again with this tube of goodness. This exfoliating treatment has been designed to help resurface and revitalise skin by using a naturally occurring mineral from the Dead Sea, combined with Kakadu Plum Extract (which contains a very high amount of Vitamin C), as well as five different stabilised forms of antioxidant Vitamin C Crystals, all coming together to give you a smoother, brighter complexion.

Touted as a home treatment, which, frankly, is fantastic, as I'm not really keen to head out into crowds, or situations where I'd be in small enclosed spaces with other people - I mean, I do that enough already at work! Of course, there's nothing quite like the real thing, but for a little pick me up for the skin, or a stalling tactic until I can muster up the courage to get back out there, this stuff packs quite a punch! Said to help reduce the appearance of pigmentation and fine line, this cruelty free product will have you loving your skin more than ever.

It comes in a white tube with a blue flip lid and lettering, and I keep this in my shower caddy, so that I can reach for it easily. This way, I can apply it while I'm shaving my legs, or waiting for that hair mask to kick in - I'm sure all you babes out there know what I'm talking about! It's all about the balance of multi-tasking, so that you can blitz through all the little things you gotta do to look good and feel better. Just wet your skin, then apply a dollop of this to it, massaging it into the skin gently in rotational strokes over the span of 1 to 2 minutes. Make sure you circumvent the delicate regions, such as your eyes and lips, then wash it off. When used up to twice a week, this can help invigorate the skin.

This has been a real godsend on the boiling, sweaty oily days - when I come home all sticky and hot, and I just want to peel my clothes off and wash the day away. This helps in sweeping away all the dead skin cells, with their gritty consistency, leaving me with soft, smooth and more luminous skin than before. Overall, this excellent product, found on TVSN, has definitely given my face new life, and I'm so here for it! Retailing for $49.95 for 57ml of product, this is certainly worth clicking add to cart. Would you be keen on a microdermabrasion treatment at home, or are you more for leaving things to the experts?
