Review: AO (Aotearoa) Skincare Glacial Melting Cleanser

I've been using the Glacial Melting Cleanser rather enthusiastically for a couple of months now, and well, let's just say, we're about to hit empties status very shortly!

A quick introduction to the brand - AO Skincare (which can be found over here) boasts a line of products inspired by nature, and harnesses the goodness of cold processed formulas to help retain the potential of active ingredients. All the fancy stuff aside, how does it actually make the skin feel, and what does the cleanser aim to do?

In a nutshell, this cleanser is meant to help dissolve impurities with the use of coconut oil, retain the skin's natural oils with harakeke seed oil and kiwi seed oil and rebalancing and refreshing the skin without that tight, awful feeling as this is 98% surfactant free. This also has red algae as a powerful antioxidant - from reducing sun damage to fighting the signs of ageing, this baby is meant to help!

This low soap formula does a great job of cleansing without stripping the skin of oils - the formula literally melts when this is rubbed between my hands, making it easy to spread. My skin feels crazy hydrated after it's use, which is not something I experience with every face wash. This comes in a blue tube with a pump, which makes it easy to get the product out, without being a slippery sucker in the shower.

For those who are curious, this brand is cruelty free, sustainable and eco friendly, not to mention that this has been formulated without parabens, sulfates, mineral oils, EDTA and fragrance. This is easily accessible on TVSN, and it retails for $54.95.

Have you bought anything from TVSN before? What's your favourite purchase from them?
