Review: Clinique Moisture Surge 72 Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator

Clinique has been on my radar since I was a teen, thanks to their gift with purchase giveaways that my aunt used to pass to my mother, and I would marvel over their tininess, loving the duo eyeshadow palettes and little bottles of lotions and creams. As a grown up, I don't marvel over Clinique any less - in fact, I've definitely been ogling the Moisture Surge 72 Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator with love.

The Clinique Moisture Surge 72 Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator is a thing of beauty. It comes in three different sizes, going from 15 ml to 50ml and all the way to 75 ml.  The prices range from $20 to $75, depending on which one you get. The jar itself is made of glass, topped with a silver screw top lid.

The lotion itself is peach coloured, and lightly scented, which I find inoffensive, and as with the olfactory senses when it comes to smells and memories, reminds me of my aunt a little. The real beauty is what lies within, though! The skin absolutely soaks up the lotion, which ends up plumping up and soothing the skin, creating a nice smooth canvas for whatever you need to do next. The texture of my skin once the lotion sinks in is just divine - particularly when you've had the chance to use it after an assault on the skin, such as a dehydrating plane trip, it truly is amazing the type of difference this can make.

I love it. I absolutely adore the living daylights out of this, and if you get the chance to try this, or if you're not happy to spring any money on a newcomer in your life, but do use Clinique products, then wait until there is a GWP happening, because this has turned up a few times before. Honestly though, it is worth the dough!

If you're a newcomer to the brand, then the Moisture Surge Hydrator would be a great introduction to Clinique. Otherwise, if you're already familiar with the brand, but haven't gotten your mitts on this yet, well, then, what are you waiting for? If you're keen on trying the products featured in the background, you can find Take The Day Off over here, and the Fresh Pressed Daily Booster over here.
