Review: Curious Grace Hair Brushes *

I can't believe that there was once a time when I didn't have a hairbrush, and that that time lasted for a few years - who WAS I? Thank goodness I saw the light and in the last few years, I've definitely taken to brushing my hair on a regular basis, even getting one that's more appropriate for blowdrying and styling - you can say I turned a corner!
Hence, when I was given the chance to check out some new brushes from a brand that I'd only seen on Instagram, I leapt at the opportunity!

Curious Grace has a range of styling tools (which I desperately want to try, I'll be honest!), brushes and hair accessories and I've been lucky enough to try out some of their new brushes, namely the paddle brush and ceramic brush.

I've been using this paddle brush on a daily basis, and due to it's little size, I could even take it away with me when I went on a trip recently. I like how the bristles are actually not particularly long, and that there is enough give in the cushiony bit so that when I brush my hair, it doesn't dig into my scalp. There's also enough of a tickle of the scalp that I can get a bit of a massage when I brush my hair - bliss!

I've also been using this gigantic Ceramic Tube Brush, which has been giving me seriously big hurr! And by that, I mean hair that's got some bounce and a it of movement to it, rather than hair that's puffy and frizzy.

It can be a bit of a coordination thing when trying to dry your hair while curling it, and that's about the only issue I have with this brush, but really, I think it's really me, not the brush!

I hadn't expected to like the Paddle Brush as much as I do, but I did actually do a comparison between my current brush and the Curious Grace brush, and surprisingly, the new, slightly smaller brush is hands down the winner! I feel a little like perhaps I've been picking the wrong brushes all my life!

All in all, it's been a great introduction to a brand that's new to me, and this makes me want to check out what else they have to offer! Their brushes range from $6.95 to $30.95 and can be found at Hairhouse Warehouse and online over here!

Have you heard of Curious Grace? What hairbrush are you currently using?

  1. My current hairbrush is a hot mess and I hide it if anyone comes over. It does the job though I wouldn't mind trying something new! Especially the round brush, anything for volume!!

  2. These look so cute, and the price is affordable too! It seems the round brushes work better than combs

    1. Can't say I've used the combs for volume and drying straight, but the round brushes are awesome for that purpose!
