Review: Blinc Eyeliner Pen, Heated Eyelash Curler and Shadow Fusion Palette *
Hello, lovelies! Today, we're going through the other half of Blinc products I've been playing with. If you haven't had the chance to yet, make sure that you catch up on it over here.
4) Heated Eyelash Curler - Like with my hair, my lashes are also straight and boring, and therefore, when I saw this, I was elated! The instructions aren't the most straightforward for the battery - basically, you have to grasp the black bit at the base and pull it apart from the silver cover and it takes a single AAA battery.
There is a little indicator light at the back that turns from red to yellow when it's ready to be used. Curl the middle lashes first, before moving to the outer lashes. Press it gently against the lashes at the base and hold it for about 5 seconds before moving upwards along the lashes.

Verdict? Like my hair, again, it takes a lot to curl them, and while it made a bit of a difference, it wasn't as dramatic as I wold have liked. I think I may have to use a normal curler first, then look to use this afterwards and see if it would be better.
This retails for $35.95.
5) Liquid Eyeliner Pen - New staple! This is like a fine Sharpie, and has a firm tip that makes it possible to draw a nice line. It also dries very quickly (hello, blinky!), so there's zero chance of smudging. This makes it a definite win for me.
This is sadly not as black as I'd like for it to be, but it's still a great black for work, and that is what I've been using every day for work since I opened it!

6) Shadow Fusion Palette - The piece de resistance! This is honestly such a hidden gem, I feel like I need to really give it it's moment in the limelight, and that's exactly what I'm doing now! Buttery, pigmented eye shadows that blend and stay in place? This palette has all that, and a gorgeous metal tin to hold it all in.
There is some fallout, I will admit, but nothing that's particularly severe and can definitely be overlooked. This has fast become one of my favourite palettes, and one that's good for travel, as there is a mix of matte and shimmer shades, ranging from nudes to colours, thus giving you a choice. There are a total of 10 shades with 5 shimmery ones and 5 mattes ones. I honestly cannot recommend this ENOUGH, and I'm so glad I got to try it, because I absolutely love this!
Don't mind the mascara - I couldn't find my brush that day! Pictured are the results of using the palette and the eyeliner.
You can find this for $69.50.
Now that I've had the chance to try Blinc out, I'm a serious convert! The next time you're in David Jones, makes sure you swing by the Blinc stand to check out their offerings!
What would you like to try the most?
