Review: Boost Lab Collage Plump Eye Cream

It's time for that mid week break! I really appreciate having Thursdays off from work, so that I can reset and declutter and ever ongoing mess that I tend to accumulate at home. I often feel a little sorry for my long suffering and wonderful husband - he has to put up with all the good AND the quirky things about me and the cat. It can't be easy! He also has to put up with the messy skincare corner that I inhabit in the bathroom, particularly at this time of the year. As we draw closer to the start of Winter, it's become clear to me that I can't rely on thinner products anymore, and I have to keep richer textures in my rotation, so I'm in the midst of transitioning over to more appropriate skincare goodies.

What that really means is swapping out things like thin lotions for thick creams and in this case, eye serums for an eye cream that promises to be lightweight, while also reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as deeply hydrating and firming the skin around the eyes. Additionally, this is meant to help gently exfoliate around the eyes, helping to keep the skin fresh and bright. If you're after a more intense result, you're can also layer this with their Eye Reset Serum.

This is supposed to give you results within four weeks, and all this comes in a short, fat white pump bottle with a pull off cap. This uses multi-peptide collagen to help lift and hydrate the skin, while cauliflower mushroom exosomes are present to help support skin repair. It also has some really fun ingredients, such as ginseng root, jojoba seed oil, hyaluronic acid and lavender oil, among others, and these all sound delicious!

This is formulated as a thick, white cream, and I find that one push of the pump to be sufficient for both undereye regions, and this eye cream sinks into the skin with very little effort, which surprised me, given it's consistency. It doesn't have a scent to it, and overall, it feels a bit luxurious, while also being minimalistic. I really like that the texture is quite rich, without being greasy, and that it seems to help keep my skin feeling a little full and soft, and puff free.

I do feel like this hasn't made a big difference to my fine lines, but they are fairly minimal still at this point, so at best, it's probably keeping them at bay. For our slide into Winter, I feel like this product is exactly what my skin needs at this point. This retails for $44.95 for 15 ml of product, which is very much in line with the rest of the range. It is available from various retailers, including Priceline, where I purchased mine, as well as via their Boost Lab Co website. Do you use a richer eye cream for the colder months?
