Review: Arencia Pore Melt Mochi Cleansing Oil

Happy Monday, my kittens! I hope you all had a lovely weekend - mine was restful, and productive at the same time! I spent Sunday doing a couple of gym classes, before putting in some effort tidying up my closet - and that took up most of my day, I'm not going to lie! Sunday was spent doing some laundry (yay for a sunny day!), followed by a gym sesh, and a bit of time at my husband's clinic, where I aided in placing a cat in a foster home - the highlight of my weekend! It may not sound like much, but this move might just save the cat's life, and while it seems like a minor thing, it's pretty major to the little feline, and myself, so let's keep our fingers crossed for the small guy!

Given how low key my activities over the weekend were, I wasn't given to wearing much makeup, and chose to sit around in my skincare for most of the time, and when I was wearing makeup, I went with skin loving ingredients/hybrid makeup and skincare products. To further the cause for marinating in my skincare, I also chose to take off these products by using a cleansing oil, and for me this week, it's the Arencia Pore Melt Mochi Cleansing Oil!

So, if you haven't read my previous post on Arecia, you can head over here. I was so impressed by their Green Rice Mochi Cleanser, and I was hoping for some of that same magic with their Pore Melt Mochi Cleansing Oil, and let's just say, I wasn't disappointed! I consider this to be my precursor to using the Green Rice Mochi Cleanser, and it's touted as a cleansing oil that 'melts away clogged pores and blackheads'. This works to dissolve makeup, excess sebum, as well as pore impurities. It also has CICA, Vitamin E and rice amino acids  to help soothe the skin.

This is made up of a blend of plant-based oils and calming extracts, and it comes bottled in a clear container that has a pump, allowing for easy access to the cleansing oil. As with all cleansing oils, this is best placed onto dry skin, and worked into it, before emulsifying it with a a bit of water, turning it into a milky solution. I like massaging this into my skin in rotational strokes, and working it into the skin around my eyes and lashes, which is where I'd consider the bulk of my makeup to be. Side note: a good tubing mascara goes a long way to making me look bright eyed and bushy tailed!

This cleansing oil is rich on my skin, and fantastic at removing most of my makeup. It falters a little when it comes to my liquid eyeliner, but my tubing mascara is no match for it, nor is my blush. I remember when there was only one particular cleansing oil on the market that I would have considered to be my holy grail, and the world has totally opened up at this point! While I wouldn't say that this takes everything off effortlessly, I would say that this does remove a lot of it, and I will definitely be finishing the bottle! This retails for about $33, and you can find it at various retailers! Do you use a cleansing oil?
