Review: SumaNurica Hexapeptide 5 Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serum
I'll be honest, I don't think I could give up any step in my skincare routine at this point, and if forced, at gunpoint, to pick one thing, it certainly wouldn't be my eye cream. Some people see this as an optional extra, and I see it as something that I need to have at all times. Imagine having something that could help hydrate that delicate skin beneath your eyes, or help keep it puff free, making it so that you can appear brighter and more alert? Sign me up!
Continuing on my mission to try out SumaNurica products, I was sent the Hexapeptide 5 Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serum, and it's been such a treat! This comes as in a box containing 3 x 5 ml bottles, and each bottle has a dropper built into the cap, so that you can titrate the amount of product that you want to get out every time. The unique formula contains a blend of probiotic and age-defying peptides to help you reach those skincare goals.
This is meant to help support the delicate eye area, while also reducing the appearance of wrinkles, keeping the skin looking smooth. It's also designed to help relax the muscular contraction in the face, so that it can reduce the appearance of fine lines, while also having the skin stay supple and smooth. The probiotics are also supposed to boost skin health, fighting free radicals, while cell regeneration, as well as strengthening the skin against environmental aggressors.
While I love the concept of having the serum placed into three different bottles, keeping them fresh each time, I also feel like that's quite a lot of separate packaging, which also means a lot of little bottles to recycle or end up in landfill. Additionally, for some reason, I don't feel like the dropper picks up a lot with the suction, and I often have to go back in. That said, negatives stop there, and the positives definitely outweigh them!
The serum is as the name would suggest - light, and easily absorbed by the skin. This has no discernible scent to it, and the area under my eyes definitely feels smoother after using this. I also really like that my skin looks to have less obvious fine lines as a result of using this. For just under $300, this isn't cheap, but it does work a treat, so if you're after something that effective, albeit pricey, this may be worth looking into. It's currently available at Myer, as well as via their online store. What's your go to eye serum?
