Review: Mecca Max Off Duty Serum Skin Tint

 

I know that we're all familiar with that concept of MLBB - My Lips But Better - when it comes to lipsticks giving you that tinted lip look that's a more enhanced version of what your own lips look like, but when it comes to foundation, I feel like we have continually improved on this over time, and we have now arrived at a revolutionary product from Mecca Max that makes me feel like I'm not wearing a base product, because... are you really?

This comes in a frosted bottle with a dropper that allows you to go as light as you'd like to, or heavier, if that's your schtick, and the formula is so thin and light, it's arguably like you're not wearing a base product on your face at all. Blending is a dream with this product, and I only use my fingers to work it into my skin. Included in the formula is niacinamide, which can help to even skin tone and improve the skin barrier, while there is also squalene, which is also great for helping to strengthen skin barrier and retain moisture. 

 

The effect is so good, it's ridiculous! I have good skin (thanks mum!), but it's even better with this, so much so that it really is the 'my skin but better' effect.
