Review: Morrocanoil Shimmering Body Oil

When will this obsession with body oils end, you ask? Well, nobody did, but just in case you were wondering if my feelings on this particular category of body care products were dipping, you'd be wrong, especially if they keep pumping out body oils as exciting as this one! While I was having a look at what's new and out in Sephora at the moment, I stumbled across the Morrocanoil Shimmery Body Oil, and I instantly gravitated towards it.

While it's quite a pricey body oil, sitting at $75 for 50 ml of product, this is an absolutely gorgeous body oil that I would totally repurchase, and here's why. This is a lightweight body oil that is meant to both moisturise the skin, while leaving it with a subtle glow. This contains soft pearlescent minerals that are meant to help boost radiance, while also promoting a healthy glow.

As with the rest of the range, this is steeped in argan oil, which is rich in antioxidants, as well as sesame oil. It also carries that classic signature Moroccanoil scent, which is a blend of spicy amber and sweet florals. This comes in a dropper bottle, which means that you can control the amount that you get out each time - an important tool, when it costs $1.50 per ml of product, and you might be wanting to eke it out for as long as possible.

The Shimmering Body Oil has a beautiful texture. This truly is a dry oil, which means that it doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy at all, while still being smooth enough to spread over the skin. I love that this doesn't leave a greasy film on the skin at all, and my skin is left feeling really nourished with a beautiful sparkly glow.

The package is recyclable, and this is a great product for babes who have dull, dry skin that needs a bit of loving. This is truly a beautiful, light  dry oil, and the only sticking point is that this is relatively pricey, but honestly, it is worth every cent - my skin feels smooth and the shimmer is stunning. I just wish this were bigger! You can grab your very own bottle over here.
