Review: Bangn Body Smooth Skin Scrub

I'm sure that we all have our private skincare routines, and things that we love doing that we maybe don't talk about quite as much. This calls to mind an old episode of 'Sex and The City', where Carrie talked about Secret Single Behaviour, and there was a scene that had Charlotte staring into a mirror, examining her pores. That's the kind of stuff I'm talking about! I probably don't advertise how much I love exfoliating, but I'm going to look to change that today, and talk about a product that is helping me do just that!

I've been using the Bangn Body Smooth Skin Scrub, which is designed to work as both a scrub and mask for your face, as well as your body. Essentially, we're talking about a bit of an all-rounder, which is a convenient tube to keep in your shower caddy, for when you need a little scrub a dub dub to take off the day. This is how is works as an exfoliating face scrub - just pop a small amount onto your face, then massage it into the skin in slow circular motions, before rinsing it off with warm water.

Similarly, you can do the same thing if you're looking to exfoliate the skin on your body, where you pop it onto wet skin before massaging it into the skin, or, if you're looking for a more intense scrubbing experience, you can apply this to dry skin, so that there is less of a lubricant without the water, before you start rubbing it around your body. Additionally, you can use it as a quick pick me up for the skin, where you leave it on for between two to five minutes, before washing it off.

This comes in a metal tube that contains a whole bunch of goodness crammed into 140 ml. This contains Australian white kaolin clay, which is meant to help deal with impurities, like dirt, grime, bacteria and excess oil, while also removing dead skin cells. There is also bamboo, which is full of antioxidants to help battle free radicals and UV-induced damage, as well as helping to soothe the skin. Included in the ingredients is sunflower oil, which is helpful for retaining moisture in the skin, while also being rich in vitamin E and antioxidants. Last but not least, this also has Arabica coffee seeds, which are high in fatty acids and antioxidants, and can help promote blood flow and collagen production.

It's a really easy product to get out of the tube, if a little fiddly when it comes into the small screw cap. It's a fantastic exfoliant for the skin, leaving my skin feeling all smooth and comfortable, while as a mask, this seems to help give my skin a little boost, helping with adding a bit of a glow while improving the texture of my skin. I love that this does more than one thing, and my skin does too! You can find it online over here, or in store at Sephora now, where is it also stocked! What is your favourite gritty product?
