Review: Medik8 Clarity Peptides 10% Niacinamide-Infused Peptide Serum
Niacinamide doesn't get the attention that it deserves, and today, I'm hoping to change that, just a little bit! Let's begin by introducing you to Niacinamide, what it does, and why you should be looking to add this little gem to your skincare rotation.
Sounds too good to be true? Believe it, sister! When I had a super fancy facial recently that resulted in moderate inflammation of the skin, I was told not to use any active ingredients like vitamin C, but it was recommended that I apply niacinamide to the skin to keep it happy, and it worked like a charm.
Medik8's brand new Clarity Peptides 10% Niacinamide-Infused Peptide Serum combines the goodness of niacinamide with CrystalideTM, which should leave your skin smoother with increased luminosity, due to it slowing down the process of pigmentation. This also has hyaluronic acid for a moisture boost, as well as zinc PCA to help prevent blemishes from cropping up by minimising sebum production.
This comes in a white, clean squeeze tube, with a nozzle, containing 30 ml of product. The serum itself is white, and smooths out clear. The texture is smooth, light, and gets absorbed easily. While subtle, I have to say, the results are good. My skin feels smoother, not to mention looking smoother too, as well as an improvement in clarity. Overall, my skin is just better and I'm really impressed by how this seems to help.
