Review: Bubble Fresh Start Gel Cleanser

I don't know about you guys, but I've been feeling the pinch lately. Don't feel sorry for me, it's definitely all a self inflicted situation, where I should have been better about my discretionary spending, and let me tell you, while it was fun splashing out the big bucks for things that made me very happy, I'm certainly not as happy now as I was, and I really need to watch where my money goes! Being an adult with responsibilities is a toughie, but at least we now have budget friendly skincare that works and doesn't burn a hole in my pocket!

For now, I'm going to keep my head down and work hard, and try not to lust after any new drops from different brands! At least until my bank account looks a little less sickly, I have products that I was either sent, or bought a while back to try, to keep me occupied. One such brand is Bubble! I heard loads about the brand a few months ago, which inspired me to purchase their Rise and Shine Brightening Skincare Routine 3 piece set, which I thought looked like good value, and an excellent way to try out a variety of goodies from the brand

I've actually been using two products from them, but this post is only going to focus on the first one that I added to my rotation - the Bubble Fresh Start Gel Cleanser! I couldn't quite figure out who created the brand, or where it's based, when looking through the website, but thankfully, the individual product pages do yield a lot more information. The Bubble Fresh Start Gel Cleanser retails for just $25 for 125 ml of product, and it has a bunch of really fun ingredients to help refresh the skin! There is spearmint extract to keep the skin fresh and calm, while the inclusion of caffeine can soothe and calm the skin, as well as reduce puffiness and inflammation.

The addition of aloe leaf juice as an antioxidant to protect and soothe the skin, while also acting as a moisturiser, is much needed, and there's also red algae extract, which can help balance your skin by reducing oil production. There's also lavender flower water to help calm, purify and soothe skin, and of course, there's the polyhydroxy acid, gluconolactone, which helps to exfoliate and loosen dead skin, while also improving skin tone and texture and removing excess oil. Best of all, it's supposed to be gentle and good for sensitive skin.

I love the colour of the baby blue bottle, with the contrasting orange cap. Despite having a small nozzle, this has a surprisingly good pump that manages to get out a neat little amount of product with each push. I just thought that there would be more resistance, but that's not the case here. This has a very mild floral scent, and I like that this leaves my skin feeling clean and soothed. For a wash that's designed more for balancing oil and acne prone skin, I was very impressed that it didn't dry out my normal/dry skin. For my first introduction to Bubble, I was very happy with the results! You can now find Bubble over at Priceline, with a full sized bottle of this only setting you back by $25 for 125 ml. What have you tried from Bubble?
