Review: Jurlique Herbal Recovery Eye Roll-On
I feel like as we head towards the colder months, I'm finally starting to get all the posts I had sitting in the dust out into the spotlight, where they deserve a little time for everything they've done for me. The Jurlique Herbal Recovery Eye Roll On is just one of those beauties, and what a beauty it is! I think Jurlique is a truly iconic Australian brand, and one that most people would be familiar with, whether they've tried something from the range, been given a Jurlique product, or bought it for someone else, Jurlique really is one of the original luxe brands from Down Under.
The Jurlique Herbal Recovery Eye Oil Roll-On is a lightweight oil that's meant to refresh, illuminate and cool the skin, while also reducing the appearance of wrinkles, so that you can be left with a vibrant and radiant complexion, particularly in an area where, when you're tired and stressed, it really does show up. This has been formulated using a blend of jojoba, avocado and sunflower see oils, and it contains the Jurlique Radiance Blend of Rose, calendula, marshmallow and lavender.
Placed within a small glass vial with a roller ball applicator and a screw cap, this secure design means that you can travel with this easily. I also love that the roller ball applicator means that it can help soothe the skin, massaging the undereye area, helping to awaken tired eyes, all while nourishing that region. The applicator and the consistency of the product both help in reducing the amount of product that you need to apply for it to do it's job, which means that you don't end up wasting any of it. I also love that it means you should theoretically be able to get every drop out of it!
The oil is so light that I actually had to check that it was coming of onto the skin the first couple of times I used it, and I wasn't just applying the roller ball to my skin to no avail. When I was using this in the hotter Summer months, I really appreciated having the cooling feel on my skin, especially in the morning. Given that it's really thin, this gets absorbed quite quickly, and while I'm not big on having oil on my skin during the day, for fear that my makeup would slide around, that is one bit of paranoia that hasn't been realised.
