Review: Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Serum

Garnier is a brand that I'm sure most, if not all, of you would be familiar with. There can't be one person out there that's reading this blog who's never tried a Garnier product before in their life, am I right? I mean, it's as ubiquitous as other major drugstore brands, and being such a major household name, I'm sure plenty of you have used Garnier products without even realising it. Well, today, I'm talking about a Garnier product that I'm sure you'd WANT to try, and that is the Vitamin C Brightening Serum!

If I had to pick an active ingredient that I'm actually totally, absolutely and hopelessly obsessed with, then it would certainly have to be Vitamin C. When it comes to serums, I'd always recommend having you pick them according to what skin issues you're looking to target, and my bottom line is always to have glowing, dewy beautiful skin, which, to me, always feels like the pinnacle of healthy and of healthy skin.

If that's what you seek, then you're after a good Vitamin C serum too! It's a good thing you're here now, because you're about to find out why it's the Garnier Vitamin C Brightening Serum is worth the dough! This is a serum that's enriched with 3.5% Vitamin C + Niacinamide + Salicylic Acid, and there's also the inclusion of Lemon Extract. Combined, these are meant to reduce the appearance of dark spots, while also making the skin look increasingly radiant and brighter, as well as smoother, with a more even skin tone.

This comes in a dropper bottle that does a good job of dispensing an appropriate amount of serum each time - enough to cover the neck and the face. While a cloudy white in the bottle, this doesn't leave a trace of colour, or of the serum itself, once it has been applied to the skin. I love that the consistency is relatively thin, which means that it doesn't actually stick around on the surface of the skin for very long, and my skin seems to appreciate it!

It seems to help with keeping my skin looking bright, and this also seems to even out my skin tone a bit. I can't guarantee that it's helping to reduce the appearance of the pigmentation in my skin, but overall, it's a brilliant serum! It's good to keep in mind that Garnier is cruelty free, and that the bottle is made of 100% recycled plastic (discounting the label, additives and cap, of course), for those who are looking to feel virtuous while also doing something nice for their skin! This can be found wherever Garnier is stocked. Is this something you'd like to try?

  1. If you have sensitive skin like mine, there is a llypo spheric vitamin c that you can get at a discounted price by using the coupon code provided below. Liposomal vitamin C is a genuine boon. The fact that it absorbs quickly means I can reap its benefits without pain. My skin is noticeably softer, firmer, and more hydrated than before. The antioxidants in this lotion do double duty: they restore my skin's youthful bloom while protecting it from environmental aggressors.
