Review: Arbonne 2017 Spring Collection

Late last year, to celebrate heading out of the cold and into the warmer months, Arbonne released some new and beautiful makeup, and while it's taken me a while to talk about them, I'm pretty excited to talk about them now!
The Sheer Glow Highlight Stick is a dual-ended, multi-purpose highlight stick with Pearl (highlighter) on one end, and Bronze (bronze highlighter) on the other. This contains sunflower seed oil for conditioning the skin, grape seed extract for their antioxidant properties and sustainable shea butter (harvested with fair trade principles!) for that moisture boost! This retails for $69 and these glide on smoothly, with Pearl adding a bit of a shimmery glow, while Bronze also has a bit of colour to it, which just enhances my Summer tan! These aren't insanely pigmented, but are instead subtle and sheer, and serve to brighten my complexion. I find the blending of these quite easy with my fingers.

I received concealers in two different shades, Medium Warm and Tan, which are two of the seven colours available. These contain bamboo powder and peptides to blur imperfections, while chicory and alfalfa extract are meant to reduce the appearance of dark circles of the under eye area. They also have antioxidants to help soothe that same spot while keeping it looking radiant. These retail for $39, and they are gorgeous! These rival one of my favourite concealers - they are creamy, offer full coverage, AND these also don't crease on me! The doe foot applicator makes it easy to get the product out, but I do still prefer using my brush to blend it properly. These are definitely an awesome addition to my collection of concealers!

And boy have I left the best for last! The Smoothed Over Lipstick range has a total of 16 shades, and I was sent two of their new colours, Lily (pink) and Gladiola (red). These are seriously wearable, being a bit of a hybrid in that they are hydrating and nourishing, while being incredibly pigmented! These actually contain hyaluronic acid to help with hydration, and also to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Fruit extract from watermelon, lentil and apple act synergistically to moisturise and increase the look of lip volume, while polymers provide a moisturising hydro-lip layer to help colour pigments disperse evenly for longer wear. Lily is a gorgeous pinky nude, which is appropriate for everyday wear, and shows up surprisingly well on my lips, while Gladiola is a beautiful, sultry red, just right for those fun Summer nights! These retail for $42.

Being my first foray into Arbonne cosmetics, I have to say, I was very impressed! All the products featured are vegan, and I'm really looking forward to incorporating them into a look! For anyone interested in purchasing their products, you can do so through their online store, or independent consultants.
