Review: REF Stockholm Sweden Weightless Volume Shampoo And Conditioner

REF Stockholm Sweden is a brand that I've admired on Instagram for a while, but one that I've only recently become acquainted with. REF is Swedish brand that focuses on natural beauty, and communicating their perception of this to the world.
All their products are paraben and sulphate free, with their complete Care line (this duo is part of it) being vegan. Did I also mention that they are cruelty free?

But enough about the brand and their excellent ethos - what about the products I've been trying?

I'm been using their Weightless Volume Shampoo and Conditioner over the last few months, and I've really enjoyed working them through my hair! Their Weightless Volume Shampoo and Conditioner duo is meant to protect, strengthen and boost the texture of fine or thin hair (but is suitable for all hair types), intensifying fullness, density and shine. They also state that they seal in volume, and additionally, they have a colour preserve system to protect coloured hair from fading. These have citrus paradisi oil and jojoba oil for moisture that's not meant to weigh the hair down. They also contain quinoa protein for strengthening.

They both come in green-grey bottles with a lid that you need to push down on one side to get the product out of - a little tricky with slippery hands, but sturdier than a flip lid. When I sniff them, I find them both to be lightly scented, and not offensive at all. The shampoo itself is clear, and while it goes onto the hair nicely, it doesn't really lather up as well as other brands. I would put that down to the fact that it's sulphate free.

The conditioner is a creamy orange colour, and while it doesn't feel particularly rich, given that this has a relatively thin consistency, it actually does leave my hair feeling softer, and not weighed down. This is a duo that I can use regularly, and I find that my roots don't feel quite as greasy as it usually does 48 hours after washing it, but I also feel like this line would almost benefit from a hair mask that would provide additional nourishment.

These both come in 3 different sizes - 60 ml ($10), 285 ml ($33.50) and 750 ml ($67) for the shampoo and 60 ml ($10), 245 ml ($33.50) and 750 ml ($67) for the conditioner. For more information on REF, make sure you head over here!
