Christmas Guide For... Skincare Seekers

Moving off the topic of lips and eyes for a tick, let's have a chat about what's out there this silly season for those who are looking to nail that perfect base for that easy make up application.

There are some exciting sets out just for Christmas, as well as some of the cute little picks that may work well as stocking stuffers. Let's get started!

1) Neal's Yard Remedies Normal Skincare Kit * - I do love this gorgeous little pack! Neal's Yard Remedies is an animal friendly (ie cruelty free) skincare range, and this cute sampler pack includes the toner, moisturiser, wash and oil. Travel friendly and if the normal skincare range isn't for you, don't fret - there are others, including ones for anti-aging, dry and oily/combination skin types.
$32.95

2) Trilogy Age Proof Beauty Collection * - Valued at $84.00, this box of goodness is filled with some excellent products! This handy pack features a full size CoQ10 Booster Oil, Replenishing Night Cream and Line Smoothing Day Cream. A great present for anyone who's after something to help stall the signs of aging. Trilogy is also a cruelty free line.
$49.99

3) Boots Laboratories Optiva Cleanser, Night Cream and Day Cream * - I've had great experiences with Boots Laboratories so far, and really enjoyed using their night cream (I'm just about to finish one jar up!), so these little bottles for such affordable prices are products that I wouldn't mind seeing wrapped under the tree, or as stocking stuffers! This line is suitable for any skin type, hypoallergenic and paraben free. The day cream contains SPF 15, while the night cream is meant to help strengthen and nourish as you rest and the cleanser is supposed to be gentle, yet effective at removing impurities. You can get this trio from Amcal, Amcal Max and Guardian Pharmacies.
$14, $22, $22

4) Milky Foot Active * - For that person looking to have petal soft soles this Summer, this would be a great gift! Meant to reduce foot odour, as well as exfoliate dead skin from the feet with little effort on your part, this also has the novelty factor of giving you and your friends a chance to compare the peeling! Gross, I know, but I'm always excited about the potential for exfoliation when it comes to things like this! If you're not certain if this is something that your friend would be keen on, just get her (or him!) to read my post reviewing these socks!
$32.95

5) L'Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water - Just as soon as you put make up on, you have to take it off sometimes! Gone are the days of oily make up remover, and now is the age of micellar waters! This is one that I'm unfamiliar with, but excited to try. It also takes up less room on my sink, and it sounds like something that my skin might enjoy after a long day at work.
$12.95

6) Nuxe 'Love From Paris' Huile Prodigieuse Christmas Coffret * - Nuxe, when you come out with pretty Christmas sets, you certainly shine very nicely! This particular set comes in a beautiful gift box with sparkly bits and contains four items - a multi-purpose dry oil, anti-fatigue moisturising cream, a candle and a Huile Prodigieuse Or. You can find this through Adore Beauty, Priceline and selected pharmacies.
$39.99

7) George Foreman Mix and Go * - Ok, so, I realise that this isn't technically skincare, but if you're anything like me, and you're prone to eschewing vegetables or anything healthy, but would have smoothies, then this is the thing for you! Keep that complexion clear by adding skin friendly ingredients into the Mix and Go. The ability to make your own shakes and smoothies, not to mention keep them cool (there's a chill stick that you can have in the bottle to keep things cool on the go), is one that's much needed this season, so why not grab one for you and another for a friend?
$44.95

8) Lush Five Gold Rings - These are the cutest things from their Christmas collection this year! These five gold rings are great in that you just use one gold ring each time for a lovely bubble bath. And just look at that sparkle! Hurry, though, I hear they are running out, and in fact, may already be sold out online! Great for a little Secret Santa as well.
$10.95

9) Molton Brown Stocking Fillers Collection - This is another pick that I wouldn't mind finding under the tree! A selection of 12 scents for your loved ones? I'm sure they wouldn't turn it down! Molton Brown makes the most luscious scents, and this would be gorgeous to find under the tree on Christmas day.
$60.00

Think you may be getting closer, but not absolutely certain that you've found what you're looking for? Hold on, because the next topic would hopefully make 'scents' for you!
