Review: Nature Republic Pine Tree Mask Sheet
For the love of face masks! I do love these little buggers - each one is a little different, and they're all fun to use, and as long as I have them, I'll continue to churn out reviews for them! This time, I'm reviewing the Pine Tree Mask Sheet by Nature Republic, gifted to me as part of a KK from Citra at FaithHopeLoving. Hop on over to hers if you haven't had the chance to yet!
This is supposed to contain 'oxygen water', whatever that is, and the first ingredient is water, which is reflected in the serum in the packet. I checked the sachet a couple of different times, but couldn't actually see what the mask was supposed to do. Often, it's stated that it's supposed to moisturise, or firm the skin or brighten, for example, but it wasn't clearly indicated on this mask.
When I opened it, I found this to be practically swimming in it's own juices! It was incredibly watery, and I couldn't quite get the mask out without it dripping on the carpet - it was a little messy.
The fit was excellent, as you can see from the picture above! However, the mask actually tore a little as I was separating bits of it, and it definitely felt less durable than certain other masks I've tried in the past. I put it on for 20 minutes, then patted the remaining serum, which was very runny, as well into my skin as I could.
The verdict? Honestly, I don't think this did much for me, sadly. The mask itself was a little thin, and the serum far too watery. The results were also a little bit of a letdown, where my skin didn't seem to react to it in any way at all. What a disappointment!
Have you ever felt let down by a mask sheet before? What's your least favourite?

Not the best, but perhaps there would be others from the brand that might be better?
