Review: Hairification Pure Hydration Revitalising Hair Mask
Is anyone else like me, in that they go through cycles with their hair? Like, do you have moments when you're a bit glum, and you just have to zhoosh up your hair by getting bangs, or a dramatic cut? FYI, bangs are honestly not for everyone - I would know, I've tried it a few times, and now, after all those attempts, I think I've finally conceded defeat. Until the next time, that is, but hey, you can't accuse me of not being an optimist! Of course, I also get into cycles of different hair colours, moments where I want to curl my hair all the time, and then there's recovery period, where I'm all about leave in products, treatments and hair masks.
I was flipping through Priceline's hair sale a while back, and a brand that I'd been eyeing off at Adore Beauty caught my eye. I was excited to see Hairification on sale, as they looked like they had a streamlined approach to hair care products, and I wanted to try their hair mask, which I promptly purchased. As you all know, like most modern women, I happen to be low on time, and anything that can help boost my hair and improve it with as little effort, or time, on my part should definitely be integrated into my routine.
The Hairification Pure Hydration Revitalising Mask is supposed to help reduce the appearance of damage, decreasing brittleness, while also repelling frizz and adding to shine. In short, it's designed to help revive and revitalise dry, dull and fragile hair, rebuilding integrity from within. This comes in a white tube with a dark green flip lid, and I love that this is easy to get out, in addition to being easy to use.
Start of with freshly washed and conditioned hair, and once that's all rinsed out, simply squirt out a healthy amount, and by that, I mean put as much as you think you'll need, then add a dollop more. Then, simply leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes to let it do it's job, before washing it out. It's a shame the tube is so small, because I don't think it will last for long! I love that it doesn't take ages for it to work, and that this does leave my hair feeling softer, and not weighed down, as well as looking a little less frizzy and fuzzy, and therefore, appearing to be healthier.
This retails for $20 for 100ml of product, but make sure you check around before you purchase it, because I recently saw it for 50% at Priceline! If there's one thing that my mum taught me when I was younger, it's that if you can help it, make sure you always buy things on sale! It's a great introduction to the brand, and this has piqued my interest in the rest of the Pure Hydration Range. For more information on the brand, you can head over to their website over here, or scope them out on Adore Beauty. Have you tried anything from Hairification?
