Review: Bohemian Skin Bright Eyes Cream
What do you think of when you hear the words 'good skin'? Whenever someone mentions that to me, it makes me think of glowy skin, a dewy complexion, and having that amazing lit from within luminosity. I also think of it as the skin looking healthy and bright, not dull, dry and tired. I don't know about you, but I'm honestly one of those people who could sleep for HOURS and not feel like I've had enough sleep. I can have an afternoon nap, and still fall asleep that night when my head hits my pillow. Call it one of my super powers - I can fall asleep just about anywhere. I'm talking planes, trains and automobiles. I once nodded off in a small rowboat in Myanmar, and that's not an exaggeration.
Somehow, though, it doesn't matter how much sleep I get, if not for the power of good skincare, leading to good skin, especially eye cream, there's no way I would look rested at all. This time, I put the Bohemian Skin Bright Eyes Cream to the test, and this eye cream claims to brighten, hydrate, firm and nourish the eye area, while also treating and preventing the signs of ageing, dark circles and puffiness, but does it hold up to what the label says it does, and how does it achieve those skin goals for your complexion?
It has been formulated with hyaluronic acid to help plump, hydrate and moisturise the skin, and it's also meant to have antioxidant properties, so that it can combat free radical damage. Olive leaf extract can also protect against free radicals, while calming irritation, redness and inflammation, as well as helping to enhance circulation and collagen production to give you a firmer, plumper complexion. This also has Kakadu plum in it, which is steeped in vitamin C, vitamin E, folic acid and carotenoids, and they can help brighten the skin, while reducing dark eye circles and puffiness.
Mothbean extract is a botanical retinol that stimulates collagen production, which can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Last but not least, there's something called eyebright extract, which can help reduce the appearance of fine line and wrinkles, as well as minimise swelling around the eyes. This has a bit of an earthy scent to it, which I don't mind. The cream is quite thick, and easy to tap into the skin. I feel like this has been great for keeping the puffiness at bay, while also moisturising around the under eye area.
All of this gets packed into a pink tube with a screw cap that holds 15 ml of product, and this has a nozzle, allowing for the right amount of product to be dispensed each and every time. For those who are curious, this has been formulated with Australian Certified Organic Ingredients, and this brand is Australian made and owned, which is something that I can get behind! I love that this is vegan and cruelty free, and you can find it over here for $33. Have you tried anything from Bohemian Skin before?
