Review: Wotnot Natural Face Sunscreen and BB Cream
Hello, my super cuties! Whether you're a born and bred sun seeker, or you shy away from the fiery ball in the sky, one thing stands true - sunscreen is important, and what's even better these days is that sunscreen doesn't feel, or smell, like what it used to. Even more amazing is the fact that you can simply combine it with something like your base, and turn it into a 'two birds, one stone' situation! I've been busy testing out a BB cream from one of my favourite facial wipe brands, and that is none other than Wotnot.
Their Natural Face Sunscreen and BB Cream is now available, and I'm here for it! This BB cream contains Green Tea Extract and Certified Organic Jojoba and Aloe Vera, which means that aside from actually providing a base for the makeup that you're about to put on your face, these skin loving ingredients will also help keep your skin happy, hydrating and nourishing the skin as it stays on your face.
This comes in a white tube with a pump, which I quite like as a way to get the product out - it's a little less messy than simply having a little hole for the product to be squeezed through, and you can still titrate it to the amount that works for you. It has Zinc Oxide in it for that SPF 40 protection, combating those UVA and UVB rays, and this is apparently reef friendly, although I will say I'll never be testing that out in the water!
Essentially, this is a mineral foundation with sheer coverage that can feel quite light, and a little tacky, on the skin, but does become heavier and weighs down on the skin the more you build this up on the face, giving you a decent medium coverage before it starts to feel a little cakey. My preference is for a sheer coverage, in any case, so that works out well for me.
This is currently available in 2 shades - Light and Light-Medium, and retails for $29.99. If you're after a BB cream that looks after your skin while also providing you with a certain degree of protection, then this is one you might want to try! Grab your own tube online over here. Are you a BB cream or foundation kind of babe?
