New Release: Bobbi Brown Luxe Defining Lipstick

Bobbi Brown is, without a doubt, one of my favourite brands that I like to trot out when I'm in a 'treat yo'self'' mood, and whenever they drop something new and fun, I am all over it like a rash! On that note, I was sent some very pretty goodies from them recently, and I'm so happy to talk about their latest release, the Luxe Defining Lipstick!

 Firstly, let me just say that the word luxe is redundant, because that is literally the first word that springs to mind when you talk about Bobbi Brown - am I right? That said, it doesn't hurt to talk about it, because, as they say, if you've got it, flaunt it! What exactly is the Luxe Defining Lipstick, and why should you rush to the counter to load up on them?

In a nutshell, it is a lipliner/lipstick hybrid that has the precision of a pen, while working well at full lip coverage by gliding over the lips nicely. All of this comes well presented in a slim gold, glossy, pen shaped packaging that also (very thoughtfully) includes an in-built sharpener at the bottom, which means that you don't ever have to worry about it getting blunt! 

This comes in a total of 12 different shades, ranging from soft pink and peach hues to rich burgundy and brown shades. These have a smooth matte formula, and a creamy texture that doesn't feel drying on the lips. They are all quite pigmented, including the paler shades - I've been fixated on Romantic, which is a soft pink colour, and it's honestly just stunning with a bold eye!
