Review: Mere Phytosphere Elemental 360 Cell-Active Face Cream
Let's talk about Mere before to discuss the product. Mere is an Australian born company that boasts 100% vegan formulas, which means that this is available to all of us! The products are all housed in Biophotonic glass, which is meant to protect, while activating, the molecular structure of the formula it's holding. What that means is that it selectively filters damaging light rays, and it allows only 3 beneficial spectrums to penetrate it. In a nutshell, this prevents the loss of potency, while letting it get to optimal efficacy to carry out the work it's meant to do.
Fancy packaging aside, what does the Mere Phytosphere Elemental 360 Cell-Active Face Cream boast to do? This is meant to deliver hydration, while helping to even skin tone, as well as priming the skin so that it's ready for makeup. This harnesses the power of Kakadu Plum as an antioxidant and a source of Vitamin C to help boost cell defenses while assisting with cell renewal for fresher and brighter skin. The use of Undaria Pinnatifida helps to form a hydrating barrier to seal and lock moisture in the skin, while Centipeda Cunningamii has anti-inflammatory properties to fight the damaging effects of free radicals.
The glass jar is really hefty and firm, and the screw lid is easy to removing without struggling to get it off. The cream itself is white and thick, but thins out nicely without too much work. While it may look like it's incredibly rich, and wouldn't get absorbed quickly, it does disappear surprisingly quickly. I love that it sinks into the skin, and that it doesn't leave a film on my face. Above all, I absolutely love that this actually feels like it firms my skin a little bit, and that it actually hydrates my skin like it says it would. This retails for $62, and you can find it over here.
