Review: Garnier Micellar Rose Water Clean & Glow

So, in July, I went a little over the top, and I bought an awful lot of stuff. I don't know what came over me, and I don't think I can quite justify it, but these are the little quirks that we have to learn to live with, right? Of course, now I'm trying to pinch my pennies, but at least I have plenty of material to write about - this is a beauty blog after all, am I right?

Ok, so let's welcome one of my all time favourite micellar water brands back to the blog, and that is none other than Garnier! Honestly, I must have run through about 3 bottles of the original stuff before I started on other brands, but I just couldn't walk past their new little cutie, the Garnier Micellar Rose Water Clean & Glow!

This is meant to be appropriate for babes with dull and sensitive skin, given that it is enriched with brightening rose water. It also claims to remove makeup while cleansing the skin, adding to it's overall glow. I really like that it states that the 400 ml available in the bottle would be enough for 200 uses, which is a handy metre for those who are trying to gauge when they need to buy a new pack.

This comes in a clear plastic bottle with a light pink cap, and the first thing that you notice is a soft, powdery rose scent, which I adore! I love that you can smell this while you're removing your makeup - it makes me think of aromatherapy and the act of wiping the traces of the day away as a small massage for your face. It's rather lovely, really!

Does it add a glow? It certainly doesn't make me look dull or lacklustre, and I like to believe that there is a certain degree of luminosity to me skin after it's use. But what I love most about this, of course, is that this is as good as the original when it comes to removing every last shred of makeup from my face. Goodbye stubborn mascara, hello freshly cleansed skin!

Of course, this is readily available from Priceline and other retailers that stock Garnier, at the very reasonable price of $13.99. If you're looking for a new micellar water, then this is a definite add to cart for you! What's your favourite Garnier product?
