Review: Manicare Nova Fit Face Massager

Alright, all you work from home babes! Now that you no longer have to endure the indignity of the daily transit to and from work, where there generally is an overcrowding of people, and everyone ends up breathing the same air, and you hope you end up seated behind someone who's had the consideration to put on a slick of deodorant that day, you can funnel an extra five minutes into your skincare routine!

Joking about working from home and all aside (because if we don't laugh about the situation, we'd cry, am I right?), y'all know how much I love clever things, and oh boy, if this ain't one of the cleverest things I've come across in recent days!

Coming in at a modest $114.99, this piece of machinery is a sight to behold. This has an obvious on switch in the middle of the domed side, and on the other, you'll find 4 'fingers'. On the same side, you'll also find the place to plug it in, nicely hidden, and these are all protected by a clear plastic cap, which cheapens the feel of it somewhat. There is nothing cheap, however, about the results that I've gotten by using this!

These prongs can be placed on a total of 6 settings - you can pick to place it on either the Relaxation Mode, or the Electronic Muscle Stimulation (EMS) Mode. Then, each mode has a total of three settings - low, medium and high. For people asking about the difference between Relaxation (blue light) and EMS (red light), for those who are looking to relieve tension and improve circulation, the Relaxation Mode is your friend. For those who want to improve the tone and firmness of the skin, as well as supporting skin rejuvenation, then EMS is your thing!

This also enhances the performance of skincare actives found in your everyday skincare routine, which can also be upped by sliding in a sheet mask, packed with goodies. You can start off the day with glowing skin by squeezing in a 5 minute facial workout early in the morning, or by giving yourself a well deserved breather at the end of a long and confusing day.

This device has a nice weight to it, but not so much that it would be problematic for travelling (when we're allowed to hit the skies again!), and it fits nicely into my hand as I move it around my face. I love wearing a sheet mask as I work it around my face, pushing everything just a little bit deeper. I always figure that if you can get more bang for your buck, then hell yes! My favourite combination is with a brightening face mask - the glow is unbelievable, and the results alone are worth it for buying and using this device for 5 minutes regularly. I feel like it helps more when I've just used my Foreo Luna with my cleanser prior to masking as well - so much goodness!

For such an entry level price, this face massager delivers serious results. If this piques your interest, then grab one for yourself, and maybe another for a friend so you can have 'face off' (geddit?) vying for the best results! Grab one either online here, or at one of the other retailers, including Priceline.

Have you tried a face massager before? What have you tried, and what did you think?
