New Release: Ulta3 Dark Summer Collection
Just when you think that Ulta3 is a reliable brand with great products, they go and take it that one step further and elevate their status by being a true blue Aussie reliable brand with amazing products! Seriously, you have to stop outdoing yourselves, guys, because you're just raising the bar each and every time, and I just don't know how you're going to out compete yourself in the future!
Introducing Ulta3's latest, and greatest to date, range - Dark Summer. The colours are warm, rich and bold, not your typical Summer brights at all, but after our darkened skies and dry lands of the hot season, these feel very appropriate, somehow.
The range consists of:
- Great Lengths Mascara and Great Lengths Waterproof Mascara $9.95
- Loud and Proud Mascara and Loud and Proud Waterproof Mascara $9.95
- All Night Long Eyeshadow Primer $6.95
- Ultamatte Lip Cream in Fearless, Strike Out and Dark Dream $7.95 each
- Nail Polishes in Thunder, Sangria and Evolve $2.95 each
- Master Metals Eyeshadow in Brass Bronze and Copper $6.95 each
Just about everything is part of the core collection, aside from the nail polish shades and the Master Metal Eyeshadows, which are limited edition pieces. While the Ultamatte Lip Creams are part of the core collection, they have released two new colours, Strike Out and Dark Dream, especially for the Dark Summer range.
I love that they have actually introduced tubing mascaras into such a budget friendly brand, and that the brush looks relatively slim, which hopefully means that it will allow for the lashes to all be coated in the formula. These also have the added benefit of vitamin E and Biotinoyl Tripeptide, which can help to hydrate and strengthen the lashes.
The Loud and Proud Mascaras differ in that they promise to lift the lashes for a more dramatic effect, which I quite like the sound of. I also think it's great that there is an eyeshadow primer in the bunch, and not just because I need a new one, but it is good timing!

Of all the nail polishes, the one that resonates with me the most has to be Evolve, not just because of the name! This one actually looks like a duochrome polish, and I am going to find that out very shortly, because it's too beautiful to not get on my nails!
And of not surprise to anyone, the bit that I'm most excited about is of course the Master Metals Eyeshadow pans! I've gotten some serious previews of them on Instagram, and now, I'm dying to get them on my face! These look incredibly pigmented and have such a good shine to them. Seriously - just stunning!
And of course, if you've been paying attention to Ulta3 on social media at all, then you'd have noticed their post about contributing 100% of their profits from the sales on their website to the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, supporting bushfire affected communities. If I counted my days right, then today is the last day to do so as part of their 2 week pledge, so make sure you jump online here, and start buying!
Let me know what you think of this vegan friendly, cruelty free collection, and tell me what your favourite pieces are!
