Review: Rimmel Scandaleyes Wow Mascara
I'm going to start this post by saying - happy birthday to me! I happen to be overseas, celebrating with my family right now (my dad and I share the exact same birthday), but not before I finished this blog post about the new Rimmel Scandaleyes Wow Mascara! I'm loving it, and here's why!
What exactly is it, and what does it claim to do? The new Rimmel mascara is supposed to pump up the volume while helping flare out the corner lashes to get a winged look.
The mascara comes in a purple tube that has a holographic label on the side. The brush is interesting in that it has a winged side, which you're meant to use to brush the mascara on with, then there's the curved side that's you're supposed to push the lashes with to flare them out.
Like some of the other mascaras from Rimmel that I've had the chance to use recently, this is smudge-proof, which is something that I greatly appreciate about them. Do you know how many mascaras I've had to try in the past that would result in the good old panda eyes? How much cleaning I had to do to the undereye area? Thanks for thinking of us small eye girls with straight lashes!
Alas, I'm sad to report that it doesn't flare up my Asian lashes without the addition of an eyelash curler, and waterproofing products. I will say that it does however push up the volume of the lashes so that they look bigger. These also work quite well with my fake eyelashes.
I'm pretty impressed by the whole mascara line by Rimmel, and I'd be happy to try others as they come out! What has been your favourite so far, and have they discontinued the one you were keen on?
